9 Months Later....

Well about 9 months ago.. My account went silent.. My computer was doomed! My life even seemed doomed.. I was without work, and without money to pay my bills. It seemed everything was falling apart in my life.

I was on the brink of being homeless..

And then just as things where about to fulling go down the drain I got a phone call.
From an old friend named One eye Bob..
He called me to tell me about a Job opening..

So I went up to a place called Mugs N jugs, and filled out my application...

Not to mention there where 5 others filling out Aps at the same time..
It seemed that way everywhere I went..
Tons of people filling out Applications, and no work to be found..

I was out of work for close to 1 year!!!

To make a long story a short one.. I got the job!
And started off as a grunt cook..
And within 2 weeks I was promoted to kitchen Manager!

Its strange how things seem to work out for me..
I could not find a job on my own.. But it took a friend to "get me In".
Its the only way folks like me can get a job..

Its all about who you know at this point...

Now that I have some money in my pocket.. I went to a yard sale and bought for a very little amount like 3$! A really crappy PC.
I have like 9 GIGs of HD space, and crazy low ram..
16 colors.. But it can atleast get online..

I have been away for a long time..
and I can not access youtube, or anything cool like video games..

But I can atleast do what I love to do the most is read!!!

Books have been getting me by.. But the knowledge is back at my finger tips.
So much has happened in this 9 months..

And I only have limited time that I can be online..

For those of you who remember me, or even bother to read this.. I will catch up with you very soon...

I made some really cool friends on here.. and met alot of open minded folks.
I hope to upgrade my life aswell as my computer here in the next 8 months or so.

Its a long crawl out of this hole I found myself in..
But I consider myself lucky..
I have a good job, I have a running truck.. and a roof over my head..
And now a computer...

I am far from being rich.. But in many ways, I have much more than so many people in this world...

I consider myself lucky...

Yes with some time, and some new drivers I will be back in action!
And I will be offering up some more of my typical wisdom as I once enjoyed doing so much while I was here!

Things are sertinly looking up!!
Yet the job market here in Florida is about 15-18% unemployment...

Its bad man..
Everyone morning to work on every corner on HWY 19 are homeless begging for money..

There have even been some fights over who gets what corner!!
So just having a job here in Florida is a God send...

So many here without work.. And so much crime...
I keep my doors locked, and am getting some home protection when I can afford it...

These days when you have something.. Theres always someone lurking in the shadows looking to take what you have earned...

I took awhile away from here also, and came back not too long ago.

...now alot of my old friends never get on here anymore...makes me sad.

This site is 1 of harder ones to stay a member of good standing.. hehe

I guess it serves a greater good to take a long break from being online.

I just sense that sometimes when people spend to much time online.. they get sucked in, and tend to loose their heads..

But those I call friends, are those who always keep a level head, and know how to work places like this..

Well folks... I just worked 15 days straight without a day off...
So today I was enjoying a much needed day off... In which I did nothing but lay in my bed.. Eat some pop corn, and watched TV all day long..

I was able to muster up enough energy to jump on here real quick and say hello.. And do some light reading!

Things sertinly are heating up everywhere...
With this health care bill..

Obama doing off shore drilling.. and ect ect!!!

But the best for me personally, Was learning that we have a man in the house named Dick Sweat...!! LOL
He prefers Richard...

When the world we live in is going to hell in a handbasket.. My advice would to be.. Focus on your job... And find something to laugh about!!!!

Congrats on the new job. I wondered what happened to you while lurking around. If you lived closer I would've given you some work. I'm moving to Finland this summer with family and could use help packing.

Thanks Buddy!!! Yeah thats what happened to me,and why I have not been responding to my U2's and what not..

Sadly enough.. We had a meeting this morning at work.. And sales are really BAD!! We may have to close up shop..
But I have a couple other things lined up incase this happens..

You would think having HOT women in little black booty shorts, and big boobs would bring in some clients!! But we have not been doing good biz the last 2 weeks... I am getting my hours in, but other people are getting canned, and not getting their hours..

I am a good worker, and always do extra to ensure my job will be there..

I am considering moving out of the USA..
So your off to Finland huh?
