Who's bringing religion into this debate? Or, do you just assume from my response that I'm some politically correct, conservative christian who is trying to force my views on you.

Shame on you if you're thinking this way. Again, this material is inappropriate for CHILDREN in this age group.

No i'm just saying that children get taught a hell of a lot more inappropriate things in school than they might have "learned" in that little stageplay and religion is just the prime example.

I am loving the non-parent youth on this thread that rationalize this as harmless and even "cool".

I also love how this is being called a "fake" because of location and identity of the producer(s).

If this was a porn movie, and then we all found out it was made by Lady-Ga-Ga, would that change anything?

Yes, you can point to books or movies where children used profanity or engaged in scenes portraying violence, and then just laugh this off.

Never mind the scene we are watching these child act out does everything from "showing 8 year olds talk about coke and killing" to the main character telling another female child that her "vagina is polluted"...but hey, LADY GA GA MADE IT! So it is fake and not worth attention or concern!

Disgusting...authorities should be involved.

Anyone having problems finding something wrong with this are either too young to "begin making a child" or just "unable to produce proper thought" when it comes to our children.

Absolutely sickening.

I do hope someone seeks a lawful end and punishment to this.

Criminal, perverted and abusive.

This video may as well be titled-

"child molestation and destruction of youth".

End

"Vagina is polluted" ? You did watch the same thing I did? Maybe I don't speak the same language as you do. Can you tell me where that was said??

OR ARE YOU JUST REACTING OUT WITH WORDS FLAILING!!! OO

So...the media diva/messiah is behind making a video that has children talking about thier vaginas, coc aine, murder and sex...I see.

I am SO GLAD you figured this out (after the last 4 people who figured it out before you here) and that this somehow makes this "ok".

No...

This is child molestation and abuse...and for what? Viral marketing.

I am glad you lower your guard when you learn a she-male pop-star is behind this...somehow that makes this all "make sense".

As for me...I still stand saying-

1)This is abuse and those children are being whored for marketing.

2) Those children are being damaged due to "bad parenting".

3) Each parent there sold their children for fame and fortune and should be arrested or sent to therapy or prison.

Now...you seem assured that this is some joke and that people are over reacting...that is fine...I guess when you name yourself "Lady Ga Ga" or have a million dollars, it dosn't matter what you do to children...it is ok to force children to mimic these topics and situations as long as you work for MTV.

But...if "non-famous" people molest children for a viral marketing plan, then its a crime.

Got it.

Screw that...THIS IS WRONG AND SICK.

If you disagree, then you are part of the cancer and a possible danger to children and yourself.

End

I take it you have not seen this scene in its original performance? Ever see Scar-Face?

Crappy flick...but whatever...back to the question-

Re-listen to the clip at around "30 seconds"...the line is-

"my wife's womb is so fudging polluted I can't have a baby with her".

The scene is pretty much the end-all cherry on the scar-face-cake and forgive anyone who may find a problem with adults convincing these children to do this.

Unless you think this was the idea of the children?

Did the kids ask for this?

Or do you think it was something adults came up with with no regard for the children?

It actually dosn't matter what you say to this...no offense....Its not that I want to fight you.

It simply is FACT that this is disgustingly sick and out of line.

The law should be involved.

I am really sorry if that concept is one you can not embrace.

The strictest punishment under the law is nothing. This isn't a crime, nor should it be. Your sensibilities are offended? Oh well. I remember playing "army" with my friends and pretending to collect ears as trophies, so Scarface is kinda tame. If you'll let your kids watch it - and I know damn well most of you would - you should have no problem with someone else's kids turning it into a play.

I once saw a youtube vid of a bunch of kids on their own make a mock video of an iraq style beheading, where they rambled on in mock arabic and pretended to cut off the head of one of their brothers...

Gee, call the police..

Grow up.

Sigh...

Thanks for the offer, but I think I'll continue sharing my opinion on these boards.

You don't want an uber fight? Well, don't worry your head about it...I don't fight people.

My job on these boards is to "always be correct in my views and points" (and well, sometimes get in trouble for it, cus I suck at communicating I guess).

I don't want a fight...I do not use "diatribes"

Diatribe
1 archaic : a prolonged discourse
2 : a bitter and abusive speech or writing
3 : ironic or satirical criticism

I admit, I do not share your "fond love" for short posts such as-

"silence! (then ad link)".

But am I to be scolded for going deeper into "discussion" then just throwing out one or two verbs/adjectives/nouns?

I do not think that is a diatribe...I think its just a life-sign that my brain hasn't been reduced to a pile of a worthless echoing of the TV and a delusional stance on "its ok to molest/abuse/use children just to make a viral video that will result in adults getting paid.

Hell, maybe my wat of "talking about this" is just too long for you.

Maybe I should have just written-

"No-way-yo! Dis be cool yo! Dis so awesome cus kids be killing like dat gangstar on da TV!"

Who knows?

Alls I know is "parents doing this" would not be allowed near my kid.

And I wouldn't allow my kid to be anywhere near adults who think this is even "a little" ok.

But hey! LADY GA GA YO YO!

Its all cooooooool.

Yeah, actually, it is all cool. You don't want your kids exposed to it? That's all cool, too. Wrap 'em in bubble wrap and toss 'em in a hermetically sealed room until they're 18.

Waaaaaait, your right! A couple kids once made a video on youtube, and it showed them mocking an execution! Ok! YOU DIDN'T TELL ME THAT!

I take it all back guys...this is absolutely FINE!

AND WHY!?

Cus this guy saw a video once, made by children!

Look...I know I can't get this through your head (forgive me for betting you have no kids), but this was made by adults...adults forced these children to do this.

Then adults applauded them and uploaded it online.

Sigh...what am I doing? Am I trying to teach some "stranger" the danger's of destroying the innocence of youth, and the dangers of "making children act out adult situations"?

Sigh...if I have to explain why this is wrong to you, then there really is nothing that will show you how #$@#%ed up this is.

Good luck out there....contact me when your a father/mother, and then tell me how this comes off to you.

Until then, enjoy your oh-so-deep views of-

"this video is ok because I saw two kids once make a youtube video showing death".

I once saw a bunch of kids shoot up a school...I guess that makes it ok for adults to force them to do it?

Bah...never mind...we can not agree.

BUT, I am right...and you are just "lost".

Have children someday...it will wise you up a bit.

Already done.

And you are very correct, I want my kid nowhere near people of this day who think this pornography is ok.

Bubble wrap is a good idea...but we use velcro walls and velcro body suits.

Less noise...less work.

I think that video was awesome

I'd go and watch that play.

The kids and the parents seemed to love it.... where's the harm?

It's ok to have plays about nailing a guy to the cross.... but not one with toy guns and pop-corn??

"The innocence of children" is a myth, I'm afraid. Children are violent, simple-minded barbarians. This is why you need to discipline and teach the foul little heathens. They will come up with their own highly unpleasant and disturbing games all on their own, without a parent pushing them into it.

But I suppose you live in a universe where every girl is Shirley Temple and every boy is Opie Taylor.

The only crime here is that they used the remake and not the original Scarface.

Spoken like someone who has no children or a background in child psychology.

Enjoy thinking children are monsters.

I guess when one gets abused'hurt/used/or marketed, you have the easy save of saying-

"hey, kids are evil...they deserve this".

Yeah...another person who I'd forcefully remove from my child's presence if somehow you wandered too close.

How 'bout answering my question(s) since you have all the answers.

Where do you draw the line? At what point do you say that the "fun" that these kids are having is crossing a line? And who would be to blame at that point?

I see it a bit differently... as a child I definently loved movies. I learned alot from them, mostly alot of things NOT TO DO. So what I'm saying is maybe these kids will one day be in a situation and say to themselves, "Wait guys we shouldn't do this. You remember what happened to Tony don't you?"

Also it's hard to tell that this is actually even a school play and well if it is at least for once it would be entertaining. Plus what child can really comprehend the actions of Scarface??? I mean realistically they probably had no idea what they were reenacting. To me this seems like more entertainment for the parents.
