Deadly explosion goes off at Moscow Metro station

At least 15 people are reported killed in an explosion on the Metro system in central Moscow, reports say.

The blast happened at the city's central Lubyanka station, reports quoting security sources said.

One report on the Russian news agency Tass puts the death toll at 25.

The cause of the explosion is not known yet. This explosion could have resulted from an accident. However, if this is an act of violence, then Moscow could be witnessing a major act of terror in a long time. Now I know this might be unrelated to the current story but isn't Washington D.C supposed to have a terror drill tonight that focusses on "Terrorism in Metro trains". That is some weird coincidence. We can only hope that coincidence ends there.
