I don't like Glen Beck because I think he is a clown and we are dealing with very serious issues and he makes jokes of them. But to say he is in on it with TPTB is a pure fantasy indulged in your mind by that hate you feel for him. Otherwise please show me how he fits into the progressive plan. Controlled opposition would be the only answer but if this was true I think he would act alot more like Bill O'reilly.

I know the militia in the United States are very strong, well armed and prepared though. Not so sure about here in Canada though

It's no where near as bad as the people in this thread are desperately trying to make it appear. What I still want to know is, if it is going down like these people are saying, why aren't the ones that swear up and down they are going to take action still typing on this site instead of going out and doing what they always tell us they are going to do?

Canada (or as I lovingly call it "The Government's Socialist Republik of Kanadakastan") has no militia, anywhere! With all the hoops you have to jump and crawl through to get an FAC, it's less time and cost consuming to just go buy a nice unit illegally. It's ridiculous! They want to make it so only criminals have guns, hmmm, I guess that includes police, we know how honest they are, right? I CC'd and OC'd for years in other countries, never a problem, but not in this stupid place.

Political correctness and fear of guns runs like an out of control extreme drug resistant TB. I can just imagine the crap we'd have to go through to organize a militia, we'd probably have to get a license from parliament and then they would audit us to make sure our slingshots, catapults and pointy sticks weren't too dangerous.

Apart from the politics and apathy, it's a beautiful country and the fishing is great!

This is why you do not officially join organizations that may be pitted against the government. The first thing the government will do is seize files, paper work, financial statements and computers. Then they will hunt down anyone they can pin something on and they will watch everyone connected with any organization the deem a "threat."


If you want to be in a militia, then you are already in one. If the SHTF and you decide to make a stand, when you step out onto the streets you will quickly identify your friends and foes. You don't need a patch, be on a newsletter, or know anyone to be in a militia.

If you take a stand, there will be others out there with you. Your already in a militia.

Great thread, aside from the bickering. Consider this event a learning experience.

It will be interesting to see how this all pans out - as far as who was arrested and what the charges are. A few nutcases aside, 19 arrests seems a bit high to me.

Though I don't necessarily support the FBI's actions at least it seems they've learned how to take out their targets without escalating it into another Waco or Ruby ridge. Not to forget it was the stupid rednecks in the ATF that created the Waco fiasco, even though the FBI's lack of patience & poor decision making was directly responsible for burning to death of more than 20 innocent children. Again 4 times as many slaughtered children in Waco then were killed in OK, but we only hear about six children killed in OK in the MSM.



They always get you when you're unprepared, at work, at a wedding, or in this case at a funeral or while you're asleep.

For the life of me I really find it hard to believe all the threats & complaining I've read here and elsewhere about the heath care bill that has got people talking about revolution.

I don't know, I guess whoever is responsible for 911 is a friggin evil genius. Gave us the Patriot Act, destroyed the economy, and has turned the U.S. into a police state where everybody is a criminal.
