Where do you get your.....

Hello ATS Community,

Where do you all get your news from? Are there any specific sites that you frequently visit in regards to news which are somewhat reliable?

I used to frequently visit Jeff Rense's site for news, but lately there has been too many anti-Israel news and the like. Basically, every other article had something to do in regards to Israel and that ultimarely lead to my decision to quit surfing that site.

Also, which sites do you visit whenever you want to learn something, whether it be in regards to history, conspiracies, etc...?

I have no particular sites I go to; I check out Wikipedia first (I know, I know), and if my curiosity isn't satisfied for the time, I hit up google. For my news, I tend to The Daily Show, the BBC news site, and what I'm linked to by family and friends.

However, I've had The Real News Network recommended to me by a totally crazy professor, who trusts nothing any part of the government or either party does, and takes up about half of our South Asian Lit class telling us how awful our foreign policy is. And -- I think he's joking when he says this -- that we should bomb Tibet to free it.

So, yeah. The Real News Network. therealnews.com...

I use several news agencies via Twitter, much faster than websites in my opinion as i see pop ups as news happens, and get updates very fast.

For a cynical look at news stories, i often check fark.com as it shows the idiocy of some news stories, in a humorous headline.
