So hey, I'm curious as to what the violence is never the answer people think of the founding fathers of America? Why do you feel this way.

And those that think there are reasons for violence, yet it should be a last resort, why do you feel that way?

And of course those that think that violence is the only way. Why?

The founding fathers were great...they set up a political system to where if you disagreed with the governments decision, you could simply vote the representitives out of office and have a bloodless revolution on a constant basis...it forces every 4 years people to reflect and re-establish how the republic will form.

Violence is never the answer because it pushes an agenda that instead of whomever has the most votes wins, its whichever side has the most weapons training. Rule by force and violently overthrow anything that doesn't jive with you is not a republic...that is a tribal depotism.

Violence is only necessary in self-defense.

The government is an aggressor state that uses violence against the people constantly to enforce its arbitrary will.

For example:

Government wants to bomb children in Pakistan.

I don't want to bomb children in Pakistan.

Government puts a gun to my head, takes my money, then bombs children in Pakistan with it against my will.

According to natural law, I would be justified in defending myself against that government aggression, since government has no right to my property.

Violence in and of itself is bad. Its only required to defend oneself if someone is violating your rights. Its also the last resort one must turn to.

Funny, Britain had far more training than the continental army. Our army was just a bunch bunch of average joes and slaves trying to earn their freedom, no fighting experience at all. Our founding fathers didn't want a war, they were forced into it over a slow procession of events. They didn't think they had a pie in the sky chance of winning against the British army. It wasn't until Britain decided they needed to get those "peaceful" protesters under control and Americans were forced to defend themselves that the war started. Well that and the fact that Britain feared a war that the colonists didn't even dare dream of starting, so they came and took their guns and ammo. People really need to understand how the revolution got started.
The thing is you have to understand your enemy, and in this case that is our government. if your enemy is the type to fight with violence against innocent people *cough* Iraq *cough* then you know they are going to have no problem using violence to get their own people under control if they think the boat is being rocked a little to hard I.E. all those peaceful protesters out there displaying less than 100% loyalty.
An analogy I used in another thread was this. Imagine you are a woman as I am. Now imagine you are 100% against any sort of violence. One night you find yourself confronted with being raped. Are you going to peaceful try to reason with this man on the morality of rape or are you going to fight back, you aren't going to just lay there and take it you are going to fight!
So the question is, when the government decides it needs to flaunt its power a bit and show the people who is boss, and mark my words, history does indeed repeat its self, are you going to just lie there and take it or are you going to fight back? Personally I would rather take the offensive and show them who is really in control THE PEOPLE, before they try to show us.

The so-called Founding Fathers were failures, deadbeats and hypocrites. I've made a thread called "THE FOUNDING FATHERS WERE FAILURES AND DEADBEAT DADS" and the members of this board called for me to be kicked off, called for me to kill myself, and one person even made a veiled threat.

Now here is what I'm going to tell you, which is part of the point I made in my "AMERICA IS DEAD. ACCEPT YOUR DEMISE WITH DIGNITY AND BOW BEFORE TPTB" thread. None of this stuff matters. We can fight all we want, protest all we want, whatever but nothing will change except for the faces in the game.
