Youtube home page down?

The Youtube home page is down. The error that is appearing on the home page is " Http/1.1 Service Unavailable". However, if we directly try to go to a video URL or try to open the youtube video from a search engine, we are able to access the site. Whether this is a case of any technical problem or whether this is a result of any cyber attack is unknown at this point of time.

Its just down. I googled youtube down and searched for results in the past 24 hours. Its been down since 6am EST.

Just have to wait for it to come back online.

Yesterday I posted a story about how Google (Google owns YouTube) has been hacked and was forced to turn to the NSA for help...

I can access the site but it's not runing right things are not loading properly, don't know what the problem is I can still search for songs and it brings em up.

yea, that got me as odd, its china - taking shots at Google ... it has to be. they crashed YouTubes servers ... the conspiracy of the day....

that google Owner was talking about the censorship from China
this morning on bloomberg and it reminded him of Russia and
he doesnt want any part of it... so Google will leave China, and
if google leaves then the rest of American Companies should
leave in solidarity. Go Daddy said it will not be accepting China
Domain names any longer. and well, don't the USA own the Internet --
why dont we just flip the switch and China goes off line...?
