Coffin placed on Rep Carnahan's front lawn

www.politico.com

A coffin was placed on a Missouri Democrat’s lawn, another in a string of incidents against lawmakers after their vote Sunday on a health care overhaul.

Rep. Russ Carnahan (D-Mo.) had a coffin placed “near his home,” a spokesman said Wednesday evening.

This came after Rep. Tom Perriello’s (D-Va.) brother’s gas lines were cut, Rep. Bart Stupak (D-Mich.) received death threats and Rules Committee Chairwoman Louise Slaughter (D-N.Y.) received a message saying snipers were being deployed to kill children of those who voted for health care overhaul.

Several other Democrats have h

Reap what you sow... maybe his parents should have taught him that.

It's probably just a sign saying that his political career is over, but just watch the medias spinning this into a death threat.

But I think this is just beginning. This kind of thing will go up and up and up until someone gets killed, be it for real or a false-flag.

And this is just over an healthcare insurance bailout and government taking over 16% of the economy will taxing the people to death.

I cannot imagine what will happen when Cap And Rape passes or Amnesty for illegal aliens. Or even when the Supreme Court rejects the states rights. That's what started the civil war after all, federal government claiming it is above the states.

The only thing is people had ``reasons`` to not do that kind of stuff during the sick things Bush did. Patriot Act, destroying the constitution and wars : terrorist threat. Bank bailout : economy collapsing...

But this has almost no reason of being. This ain't reform, this is theft. There's no ``reason`` for it that would stop people from resisting.

And what do those people think? In these days and age, money or violence rules. People are out of money, so they use violence. Because let's be real, voting is a joke and the votes are bought and paid for.

I love it, not the threats of violence of course, but the freedom of speech. placing a coffin in his front yard is classic. I do not like the threats of violence, but we do need to send a message. line the street with dead babies, print out copies of the bill and have a bonfire, the list of non-violent messages goes on and on.

Seems like the threats against Senators and Representatives is slowly gaining momentum.

I think the American people are extremely unhappy, and for good reason as well.

His lawn is still private property right? What gives anyone the right to trespass and defile private property? That is not free speech. Your other suggestions sound good but anyone coming onto my property to place anything in my yard will most likely get accidentally shot.

So, has the slippery slope been breached yet? The stage where the volume of news articles about this sort of thing inspires more incidents, creating a self-perpetuating frenzy of dissent? I give it a week.

I had to chuckle when I read that title.
and I agree, u reap what u sow
there will be more, and more, and more
and it will not stop til they start listening
and vote the way their voters say, not who is
contributing most to their campaigns.
There is a Revolution underway.
Here's more proof

then they have walked

private property yes, but do they care about your property, your hard earned money? oh and setting something in the yard is not damaging anything, but forking the yard maybe. again the threats i do not condone, but creative use of the first amendment I am all for.

funny you should say that cuz

what gives the IRS the right to come on my property
and take my assets for not paying a fine that is
illegal to start with.

It's the SAME THING !!!!

Yep, if you ever stand up to a bully, like the US government, they always say HOW DARE YOU OPPOSE ME!

When all they do all day long is oppress you. Time to push back and expect them to scream, just like a bully would do.

That's right, push back over the saving of innocent lives rather than the murdering of millions across the world for the benefit of oil corps and their shareholders.

You go America!

Show the world just how kind hearted and democratic you are!!

There is a difference between being compassionate and being forced to be compassionate.

It is very silly that people still fall for the "Left vs. Right" trap.

Didn't you know there is no difference between the two?

Although I must agree, that the War in Iraq was disgraceful and based in nothing but lies. Honestly though, remember that "All Rights derive from property..."

My money is my property, it is not an "Income." So no one has the lawful authority to dictate to me what I have to spend my property on.

Savvy?

First off, as I said in my first post on this topic, I HATED BUSH EQUALLY and THE WAR HE STARTED...

So YOU FAIL at turning this into a two parties BS, sorry, on ATS most people don't believe in either party and hate them all equally.

And it's so fun saying that lie that people die from no health care... IF they weren't such ignorants, they would have free health care since there's way to get it because doctors have to give a certain numbers of hours for free, not to mention NOT ALL hospitals and doctors are worthless human beings like you democrats think they are.

Ignorance killing more than profit.

Not to mention that doctors kill 225.000 people in the US every year which is way more than your stupid number of ``people died because they had no health care``...

Each year in the US there are:

12,000 deaths from unnecessary surgeries;

7,000 deaths from medication errors in hospitals;

20,000 deaths from other errors in hospitals;

80,000 deaths from infections acquired in hospitals;

106,000 deaths from FDA-approved correctly prescribed medicines.

The total of medically-caused deaths in the US every year is 225,000.

Yeah health care is real sweet eh?

Vicillo thats interesting stuff. I work for a cvs in southwest ct. a pharmacutical emlpoyee, works at a local hospitol. HE has threatened me on the job, and has knida tried to help a few illegal aliens thier try to gian residency, all females. Just made me think, thats all. Im a legal tax paying citizen, and these people have fake social security numbers, dont like you if your not latino, and one works in a hospitol..scary isnt it? One reason why i oppose health care. The system did nothing to help me, but helped and promoted the guilty ones.

I couldn't give a flying monkeys about which colour you prefer on Superman guys.

I just think that it smacks of absolute (I'd use caps - but they're so 2007) idiocy that now we're helping people it's time to get up and armed about it.

Is it the black president thing?

I don't see how an increase in taxes will make sure that your (or someone you knows) drugged up, prostitute of a grandchild who made a silly mistake and never could get back on the sane train again get free healthcare and a chance to set her record straight.

Prisons in your jails get free healthcare for goodness sake!

Why don't you stop banging the drum of tantrums and sort out crime rates, corporate crime and lobbyists stealing away your representatives and then see how much better off you would be. It's the US of A man, it's meant to be the pinnacle of civilisation up to this point.

Even the ancient Greeks made sure education and health was something for all (even their slaves).

In a dog-eat-dog world it's amazing that no-one can see it's better to work as a pack.

The more of these news that come out means only ONE thing:

FALSE FLAG is on its way to make everyone a "terrorist".

It's funny when they create illegal wars and kill millions, no one gives a damn, but then they increase taxes by a little bit and that fat person gets off the couch because he can't afford potato chips anymore.

Funny.

I just hope these angry people realize....
first political figure, or family member that gets hurt, well, we will probably end up under marshal law, and then the real fun will begin!!!!

threatening kids??? thought you guys were pro-life???
it's uncalled for, out of line, and like I said, make the powers that be feel threatened (by more than just losing their seats, which appearantly, they don't!! why should they mind, ain't no more money to spend anyways!) well, they are going to react!!! and not in a pleasant fashion!

The coffin was from a prayer vigil, and protesters say that the coffin symbolized babies who would be aborted due to the health care law and was not a threat to Carnahan.
