My Ouija Experiment, Playing with Demons

Ok here is the deal. Me and a friend were really bored and thought we would explore the occult side of things and do some experiments with "demons", dark spirits or whatever you want to call them. We set up a ouija board and surrounded it with imagery of the devil. 666, upside down crosses, pentagons etc...
It was the middle of the night and we were sat in my friends "summer house", more like a garden shed actually. But on the other side of his garden wall is St Beniveres Graveyard. We werent in it, but close enough to capture a spirit or two I would have thought. Anyway, we had a look online at all the different things you are supposed to do, chants you are supposed to say, rituals you are supposed to conducts etc. We did about 5 or 6 different ones (nothing too mental though) and sat there in the candle light waiting for something to happen. We waited and waited, but still the demon/spirit couldnt be bothered to talk with us. The only thing of interest that happened was that a candle next to me went out. But that was caused by the wind coming under the door, not exactly paranormal. I was quite disapointed to be honest. The glass on the ouija board didnt even move, even when I asked the spirit really simple questions like "How are you doing?". My friend even told the demon (who wasnt listening, if he was there) that he could possess his body if he really wanted to, but still nothing. Anyway, sorry for those of you who were expecting a creepy story with a gruesome ending, but the truth of the matter is, that we got bored after a couple of hours and went to get some beers and watch late night television instead.

So my conclusion after participating in this brief experiment with the dark arts, is that they simply only exist in the imaginations of people who want them to exist. Me and my friend went out with the aim to do a fair Ouija board, where nobody tricked anybody and we didnt make up stories. It really was quite boring. I think that people who do these things, scare themselves and each other by sensationalising things and snowballing their fears. This obviously makes them scared and reinforces the belief that they contacted a demon. I know a lot of you believe in the occult, but how come when I do the experiments and rituals, nothing happens. If you say I am doing it wrong, tell me exactly what I have to do and I will film it and upload it here to show you that you have absolutley nothing to be scared about.

I have some questions,
Were you using a highly polished surface for the board?
if you upturned a wine glass and lightly flicked it would it slide accross the surface?
Were there more participants than 2?
Were you serious about it?

Generally speaking you need to answer YES to all of the above.
Oh and another thing.... get rid of all the devil imagery, you dont need it.

Ouija boards do work but like anything else, you need to take a serious approach to it. Each person present should be spread out equally around the board and they should place the tip of the index finger on the glass with just enough pressure to make physical contact.

Concentrate and keep asking "Is anybody there" until the glass starts to move towards the YES...... away you go......

Honestly, this doesnt work.
It is only the participants who are there who acctually move the glass to hover to the locations on the board. It is a trick of mind..

This game has been sold for a long time, and thats what it is... a game.

Keep in mind that it isn't anything genuine.

I proved this to myself by asking questions I knew the answer to but others did not and the glass moved to the correct answer - showing it was unconsciously me 'moving' the glass.

With my hands off I'd ask the "spirit" how many fingers was I holding up behind my back. Never got it correct.

It's fun or poops and giggles, but that's it. It's a toy, nothing more.

There goes your self importance out the window. The demons couldn't even
be bothered with you. Even demons have priorities.

Oh yeah, they're real!

It is probably not a good thing to just invite/play with demons. yes the ouija board is just a game, but the invitation to the spirits is not. also calling them without releasing them is also bad. some doors do not need to be opened. you may be skeptical of whether it worked or not, but realize that demons also like to play games

People spend years learning how to and preparing to contact demons and you think you can do it in one night after reading out a few chants you found on the internet? Your post shows massive ignorance on the subject and I would suggest you look a bit deeper if you are going to draw conclusions from your "experiments".

There is another thread here where links were given to apparently real practices and 'keys'. If you're gonna try doing this with such silly and childish attempts you could at least find out how to do it. A lot of people claim that protecting yourself is the most important thing so I suggest you do some reading. Learn how to do it properly, video your attempts and post here. Oh and just hope that you're not toying with something deeper than you know.

you need more than two people atleast who are serious about it... its all to do with energy, the more people the more energy... if you're experienced then you have more energy because you know when and how to direct it at the parallel world... keep trying and never give the demon the permission to move something or play around with the lights, dont give it permission to do things to you... dont say stupid things, dont believe it and most importantly dont be scared... you're dealing with the jinn not ghosts or angels

They do work.
I went on one when younger and the glass smashed against a wall we also contacted a polish dead guy we was on the side of the london to scotland train line in the railway workmans hut .
very stupid place we picked.
15 yrs or so ago in a St Helens free paper a teenager and friends did the spirit board only for 1 boy to be crushed to death by a table the police did not believe the kids at first but had to after forensics. mum was teared apart true honest:

I don't like the idea that 'calling spirits' is something you do for fun. Why don't you play monopoly, or WoW, or whatever. What is so amusing about trying to get a spirit to answer? And if one did, would that actually be 'cool'?
And would your friend still be having a blast if a demon did come and use his body? It's nice to hear you think you've proven that the Ouja Board doesn't work, but looking at the way you went about, your experience seems meaningless.

As many of you have said, I do not have any experience in this and thought I would do it because a) we were very bored and b) we dont believe in it so we thought we would see what all the fuss is about.

I dont understand why a demon/jinn/spirit/dead person would talk to one person and not another just because one said some words that the other didnt. Also why do you have to touch the glass. Surely if the demon is powerful enought to affect your life, it should be more than capable of sliding an empty glass across a board.

This is my view on the subject (and I really dont mean to offend the people who believe it, its just my opinion)

When a group of people gather round in a dark quiet place and start talking about ghosts and demons, it will naturally create a tense and scary mood. Just like telling ghost stories to one another I suppose. People will be jumpy, some people might wind others up by trying to scare them and some people will naturally get scared. The glass will move around either by people consciously moving it or by the numerous pulling and pushing forces acting upon the glass which will exist when 5 or 6 people touch it from different angles.

People say it only works if you want to believe it and if you truly want to speak to ghosts. I agree with this. Because as in my case, if you dont believe it, you dont want the glass to move so much that you start to consciously or subconsiously move the glass by yourself.

Apart from the Ouija board is there any way to make contact with a demon/ghost? Whats the most dangerous and silly thing I could do to wind a demon up, I'll be your guinea pig. I am not ridiculing the subject, but I just find it incredibly hard to believe. I would love to give myself a scary paranormal experience that would change my mind, but I really dont think its possible.

Ok.. you guys are saying to the OP...

- the glass wasn't slick enough
- there wasn't enough people
- you have to be touching the board
- etc. etc. etc.

Boy, these are some picky demons!

There is more than enough people seen bad stuff and not so bad things.
if universities and other groups are studying the paranormal ,id say something is happening. Ive got loads of orb pics and stuff ,have heard my name shouted in bed and so as my partner ive seen an alien a ufo and seen parts of our resident in spirit like legs arms flat cap with head.in my home ,the house ive got now i found out after mentioning this that the lady 4 doors up the road grew up here, so i asked her and described this spirit she shown me a picture and it was her uncle who died but lived here with them when she was a teenager shes 65 + now.I c every night white orb flashes when i am on the laptop at around 12 to 4 in morning, they let me know they are about,

my other half does see them when she is down stairs on her own ,if shes sleeping on the couch because i am on line , i am more a night person these last 15 years with health.
she often says i seen fairy lights last night or orbs.
shes woke with a guy once bent over her looking at her feet ,my kid wakes up at least 2 times a night and says granny who comes through the wall or granny from the sky well not every time that reason but quite a few ,
she never new her nanny for she died 10 years befor she was born,shes only 3 sometime soon.

If you want an easy to use device it is best to just fill up a baking dish or some other pan with water (or blood?) and then put a cork in the center.

Then on the edges you can make "yes" or "no" answers, or even letters and numbers.

The spirit can easily move a cork floating in water, especially since water tends to be a conduit. This way you can ask questions and the cork moves easily from side to side without any interaction.

Just make sure there are no vibrations or wind and that the water is completely still.

You see, the reason most people think all this stuff is fake is because they think they can just read something they found online or in a book and 'POOF', they are Merlin.

It takes practice. Lots of practice. It also takes dedication, knowledge, and discipline.

I will also say that once you become experienced things will find you. You won't need to be calling, they will just show up. This I say from experience.

I practiced various things from different disciplines for a long time. At first you will get no results. Unless you are somehow naturally gifted nothing will happen. Zero. Then you will notice small things. A different feeling. Maybe some weird dreams that just didn't seem right.

I progressed to the point that crap would happen without me even trying. Things in my house were moving. Seeing things move in the dark. Hearing people call you when you are alone.

Things reached a point where I could literally ask for the light to be turned on or off and it would. My wife experienced the same things so I was not crazy or imagining things. She saw figures, heard voices etc...

One thing I will say is that whoever/whatever was there very very rarely ever did these things right in front of your eyes. It was like, you would see something in your peripheral vision then look and it's gone. Or you would be alone in the house in the shower and hear the door open and close then look and there is nobody there. On more than one occasion I walked through my house in a towel thinking someone had broken in.

One time I awoke to loud music. I thought it was coming from outside but then realized it was coming from the other room. I found my stereo on and the tape playing (yeah this was years ago), so whatever it was had to turn it on then press the play button. This happened two nights in a row. On the second night I asked for it to not happen anymore because I had to wake up early for work. It never happened again.

When my first son was born I stopped. I didn't want anything to effect him. I went through a number of cleansing/banishings in my house. I made it known that I would bring the weight of the universe down on anything that decided to stick around and cause trouble. Things immediately stopped and have been quiet since.

I know some are thinking I'm full of it. Whatever. I have experienced enough things to know what's what.

I have tried the Ouija with some people who weren't serious and it didn't work or just said gibberish. I have tried it alone and it never wanted to communicate. It ALWAYS just slid to the edge or completely off the board. I'm still up in the air on whether it really works or not, though I've only tried it a few times.

I would say if you are really looking to contact a demon/ghost you will need to get some experience and build your ability. Why would they want to communicate with you, if they could even hear your calls?

What's with the demons anyway? I'm guessing your a young kid. Attempting to contact a non-human entity could be a dangerous thing, though most likely nothing will happen due to inexperience and inability.

I know because I was there. A teenager, life going crappy..... I actually went big and called Satan himself. Not for help though. I challenged him/it. Went on a big rant about how he was afraid to face me... yada yada.

Luckily nothing happened. This was before I seriously started practicing. I suppose I did it wrong or just wasn't worthy of the challenge.

You are right. They are total BS and you should be satisfied with that and just forget about them.
Go find a real hobby. They are not toys.

What did you expect, a show? The board is a door, a gateway you opened and invited entry. Trust me, there will be a cost paid. Ever hear of depression, mental illness, or plain poor luck?

Well get ready, because I fear you and your buddy will soon be experts in those areas.

My advise, read up on St. Michael. Learn a few of his prayers. Get a medal, plaque, or picture of him for your room. He can and will protect you. These thing you invited are subtle and cunning. They will influence you in ways you will not notice!

If you are so sure that they don't work then why go through the trouble of it all. Personally, even if I didn't believe in something like that, I certainly wouldn't want to put my opinions to the test. You would be well served to take the advice of those here that are knowledgable on the subject. What really gets me is the invitation to posess...that is a terribly reckless, not to mention a dangerous proposition. What if by some wild chance he were to be possessed, immediately grab the nearest sharp object, and plunge it in to himself, or you? Good luck explaining to the police that demon posession was the culprit.

Yes and from what lots of people say, many more reliable ways (REAL ways).

But you seem a long way from being ready for it.
