Hi! his is Supercool Dude,

Goodbye All!

I have now left this forum and I will not be coming back to make any replys to this or any other Thread!

Why did I leave?

First, I couldn't access some forums here cause I do not have enough points.

Then someone named Seekerof filed a complaint that I did something wrong by not making a reply long enough and I was fined 20 points!

Enough! I have had enough of his SISSY-Board and I will not be participating in this debased game.

I came to this forum to inteligently discuss things, not to play a SISSY game!

Therefore I have asked the Moderator here to delete all my threads and posts!

Who ever invented this idea of points is a creep!

Goodbye All!

A lot of people who are Non-Americans are not aware of this but many bad laws have been passed in the USA and it is really becoming bad!

The politicians over here are conspiring to create an Authoritarian Government and I think they have suceeded!

First during the Reagan administration they passed new gun laws outlawing the sale of Machine Guns, then during Clinton's reign they outlawed Semi-automatic Assault weapons.

Weapons can now be banned for looking scary like a MAC 10 or UZI.

They created a law that if they catch you driving drunk they can confiscate your car and they don't have to give it back to you but you can get a hearing to recover it. They don't even have to try you!

If you posses drugs they can take your car, boat home and any or all your property! No trial nessesary!

It is called the Federal Asset Forfeiture Law.

In California they have a three strikes and youre out law!

If you are convicted 3 times on 3 different occasions you are a career criminal and you are locked up for life with no parole!

So if you steal a slice of pizza on monday and a bicycle on wednesday and a stereo on friday and they convict you, you get life imprisonment with no release date!

It's gonna get worse, the Supreme Court hass said it is constitutional!

Congress is thinking about making it a Federal Law!

It will even get worse if you read the Patriot Act!

They can now do anything they want to, now under the law!

The USA is turning into a Nazi-like society, a Totalitarian society.

The USA is in trouble I fear.

I share your sentiments. It's almost unbelievable, but true. People need to realize that just because we live in this America, doesn't mean that there are those who will try and take it from us, just as it has ALWAYS been throughout ALL of history. But we have a mentality, that because we are different, we are immune from threats, especially from the inside. But we're not. The only reason we have this nation is because people 200 some years ago knew the human condition, and what power does to people and how it motivates people. They knew that evil was present and they fought it and established this country. But just because it is established and has lived a very short life, doesn't mean we're safe. Just as our founding fathers started us off, we have to continually protect it. It's called maintenance. Nothing in this world, if just left idle and unchecked is going to stay in it's initial desired state. Our people have failed to understand that to preserve this nation, it's a constant job that each and every generation has to be dedicated too. People are waking up, but I fear it may be too late. We will have to see. Because after a certain point, when the people (us) lose a certain amount of control, we will no longer have the tools given by our founders to take back what we've lost.

I know how bad it is getting but let me remind you that, this people doing the law are our elected politicians, and that how we petitions for but not body bothers to do that because we are to busy with our work, family ect.

I am a women and I get upset about how most of womens right has been taking away from us. I see that everyday just like our liberties but what can we do?

Ater all we the people are more in numbers that our elected politicians they are suppose to help us but they are helping themselfs.

I am a pro-gun rights advocate but I do not see the need for average citizens to possess automatic weapons.

As for the Federal Asset Forfeiture Law, I know that efforts are and have been underway to reform this at both the federal and state level (states have their own versions). But I have to argue that I'd worry more about breaking laws pertaining to drunk driving and other crimes that threaten society than I would worry about what happens when I break them three times. If a person can't learn after two times they deserve to be locked up because they clearly are an idiotic menace to society.

I will agree with you on the Patriot Act however. I feel it is too far-reaching. Ironically one is considered unpatriotic when they challenge this act, which is the result of care word games deployed by the Republican majorities in the Senate and House.

IMO the US is about done as far as global importance is concerned. Citizens who value their rights will leave for Europe or somewhere else and the US will be flooded with Spanish speaking immigrants. Possibly the US will be annexed to Mexico in about 50 years assuming society stays upright that long. I hope to either be dead, off the planet, or in a country that doesn't have such laws by that time.

I am not an American myself, but I agree 1,000,000% with the 'three strikes and you're out'' law.

If somebody gets arrested for the whole, pizza, bike, stereo thing, they don't deserve prison, they deserve hanging. Why should we, the people, the tax payers, support scum like this. Career criminals (of which the imaginary criminal mentioned certainly is) are a drain on every economy.

Things like this make my blood boil. Quite frankly who cares what happens to repeat offenders? They cease to be human's in my eyes, and therefore are not deserving of being treated as such.

It's time people wake up and smell the coffee, criminals need to be punished. End of story.

Unfortuneatly (and this might sound racist) the current influx of mexican immigrants is far different than anything the US has ever experienced. Instead of assimilating themselves into american culture and society, they form a side-culture within America that doesn't conrtibute to mainstream culture. These immigrants (and many of them are illegal) gladly take minimum wage jobs that would otherwise help lower our unemployment rate. So this is different.

I know and you maybe right, I think we had a discussion before on this issue, but remember this country has been advertise as the land of opportunity.

I know your views and I know how you feel but US and their country does not make it any easier for them to stay home.

It amazes me that people still think this is a bad thing.

Surely curbing the gun culture is a GOOD thing?

You knowledge of the law is quite mis-guided...

1) Why does the average citizen have a need for a Mac-10?

2) Yes your car gets forfeited....but thats because if you are driving drunk...then you are using the vehicle in the commission of a crime and the vehicle is part of the crime...and you DONT lose the car until after you get convicted...but the PD does hold onto your vehicle before hand unless the judge says otherwise

3) they dont take you assests for merely possessing drugs...your assests have to be shown to have been possibly (with almost certainty) purchased by the sale of drugs

4) the 3 strikes law ONLY APPLYS TO FELONIES....not misdemenors...and more then half the time its not enforce...but seriously...do you want a 3 time convicted felon running the streets?...its not three times of being charged with a felony...its convicted...do you know the % of how many people get convicted of what their actually charged?...its around 5%...

WOW!!!

I'm glad there is so many who agree with me!

I have seen people accused of drug sales and lose their businesses.

I have seen cars confiscated for drunk driving.

I have seen life sentences for drug sale.

A teacher in Nassau County was arrested for being a Transvestite!

I didn't know it was illegal.

He was put into a Psych ward for a year and brainwashed.

I have seen a man in California who stole a Pizza his 3rd, which is a Felony and he has to sit in jail for it!

The punishment should fit the crime and not be an excessive sentence.

Did you know the DSM 4 says that 99% of all people have some form of Kleptomania?

Are you Christians? Jesus said we have to be more forgiving.

Also, I never ever steal anything. But, If I take Codiene for a Toothache, I wanna go Shoplifting! Why?

Maybe drugs like that make people steal?

I think banning fully Automatic Weapons sales is OK, but it is another loss of rights, but a Semi Auto weapon which is 9 MM and holds 10 rounds?

They are now banning weapons cause they look mean!

There is a clause in the US Constitution thay says you can't try a man twice for the same crime.

The Supreme Court has ruled that is OK and now perpitraitors can be held and tried on State and or Federal charges or both!

That is called Double Jeapoardy!

They are passing excessive sentences that are mandatory.

You don't send men to jail for life for stealing 3 slices of pizza.

Send him to a Psych ward for Schizophrenia.

This is why they have a jury by your peers. I know you were using it as an example but you won't get life imprisonment for stealing cheap stuff like that.

Believe me, outlawing automatic weapons was a good thing. Nobody needs to pump thirty rounds into a deer sunday morning to feed their family.

But...but I need to have bigger guns then all my neighbours, the government, aliens, and anyone else who is out to get me. . . YOU!

"They created a law that if they catch you driving drunk they can confiscate your car and they don't have to give it back to you but you can get a hearing to recover it. They don't even have to try you!"

Oh great, Now I'll have to get drunk and stumble home. What if I fall and hit my head, that'd suck.

"If you posses drugs they can take your car, boat home and any or all your property! No trial nessesary!

Oh, no. Not the boat. I love that boat. Do you know how much crack I had to sell at the highschool to buy that?!

I was really had my hopes up that I could work my way up to cars then murders, I could have made a career out of it.

"It will even get worse if you read the Patriot Act!'

I don't like that one. You are right that it is bad.

When I have been overseas I have been very self-conscious about being an American. I see a lot of things my country does that turn my stomach- especially Bush's "bull in the china shop" foreign policy.

I wonder if there are any non-Americans out there who have something to say.

You guys are funny!

It's not just that! There are roadblocks everywhere nowadays looking for drunk drivers or drugs.

Everywhere I drive the Police have set up checkpoints and it's just like we are living in an old East Block country back in the 60's!

They can stop you, ask you who you are and for your License, registration and insurance, ask you where you are going, search your car, and test you for drugs & alcohol and do a criminal background check!

All without probable cause or reasonable suspicion or eminent danger suspicion!

They are siezing private property!

They got dogs and judges who will write a policeman any warrant he wants!

They can get a battering ram and bust down youre door and invade your house or apartment and search you whule you lie down naked on the floor by force!

They are always busting into innocent peoples apartments doing this!

They have even started Coast Guard Blockades of rivers and waterways!

They have siezed private airplanes also.

People who live in Mobile Homes and Recreational Vehicles no longer have invasion of privacy rights!

If you own an open field or farm, police can search it without a warrant even if it is fenced in with razor wire while looking for drugs!

America has turned into a Nazi-like armed Police State!

Surely theyre banning these weapons because they kill a LOT of people, not because they look mean.

People say guns don't kill people, people kill people. but lets face it, the gun bloody helps doesn't it.

Kill the gun culture by banning weapons and you'll save a lot of lives.

As far as the three strikes and you're out law, I'm not sure if it pertains to state jurisdiction felonies or federal jurisdiction felonies, but I think it might just be across the board felonies for CA residents and in that case the petty so-called "terrorism" crimes could count against you. Plus you have to think about the fact that there are many laws out there that are just plain ridiculous...(in my opinion any drug for example, but there are plenty more that seem completely outrageous and are enforced).

I'd say this law should only apply to violent crimes...

ANyway...any law that takes away property is completely outrageous (under the constitution we have a right to property), despite your actions because you should be simply tried under law and go to jail for your actions in my opinion.

But, under law, all property is owned by the government, and thats because ever since the Civil War we have been in a state of national emergency, which is also why the president has executive order rights.

Who is the enemy? We are, its simply the government corporation versus the people. I can point people out to certain Senate Documents and legislation under the US Code if you want proof.

As far as the guns though...I think Micheal Moore's documentary pretty much summed up the effect that guns have...I don't think there is a need for certain kinds of guns though..but you can't boil it down to just guns...its a combination of people and the fact that guns make it easier...but people would still get killed by other faculties...what happened to good old sword-fighting

The patriot Act has some serious problems as does the National Security Enhancement Act of 2003...People are being prosecuted under these laws and cases are being thrown out of court...but people are still being prosecuted and many more detained indefinitely.

Just saying the patriot act has problems would mark you as a terrorist in the eyes of Bush and Ashcroft, they have been quoted of saying such remarks about any protest against what the government sees as right...

You just don't understand history, do you? Do you even know WHY we had a second amendment in the first place?? Hmmm?? We have the right to protect ourselves. If we ban all guns, then guess what? Law abiding citizens will have no weapons, but the criminals, since they break laws, WILL get guns illegally ANYWAYS, and therefore the victim of one of their crimes will be HELPLESS.

Also, you think it will save lives? Guns kill people, not people kill people? If someone wants to kill someone, they will DO it regardless if they have a gun, a knife, their own fists, a blunt object, rope etc. Should we ban them too? What about the crimes you hear about when people use their cars to ram people over intentionally?

Don't you realize signs of authoritarian trends that are happening when you see them?? Guess what Hitler and Stalin did first before they started their maniacal plans? They DISARMED THE POPULATION SO THAT THEY WOULD HAVE FULL CONTROLLLLLLL!!!!! These are just two examples of leaders with ill intentions disarming. Check out some history.

A huge reason why this nation actually survived Britain and became established is because we had guns. In other words, we could fight back. As much as you would like to think, this world isn't candyland or anything. A protest with signs won't do crap if the government becomes hostile. But by that time, you would have already volunteered to hand over weapons. The government has nothing to fear. No organized counter militias can be formed. You don't think this could EVER happen in this country??? Well it can. It may be a slower process than others because of our system.....but notice the insane effort to ban guns!

Wake up.
