You have got the answers.

It's pretty clear to me that most people watch the news that agrees with their world view and political opinions. All the people who watch FOX News never get to hear "the other side" of the story, just as those who always watch MSNBC never hear "the other side". Obama going on FOX News is a courageous thing to do, but more importantly, it's smart.

Some people out there aren't even aware of the outrageous right spin on FOX and watch it because of habit or because they like the newscasters. They think they're getting a "fair and balanced" view. Obama is just showing them that they're not.

I think it's pretty obvious.

The White House has already deemed FOX is not a tangible news organization

Neither is the Colbert Report or Letterman.
