UFO Dundee WI, July 2002

I have been posting this to some post replies, I just came across this I thought this was worthy of giving everyone the chance to take a look at some footage captured at UFO daze. The only problem Is that the man with the video camera seems so excited and running around to catch these strange (UFO/light's/orbs).. all on camera gave this video a limited viewing. The fact that you can definitely tell by the crowds voices in the background tells me that this was not rehearsed and very interesting to say the least.

Nice clip mate, the evidence is beginning to get a bit redundent. Wish they'd come visit my neighourhood it seemed to bring the people out of their cage homes and into the street sharing in something amazing together.

I live very, very close to Dundee and have been to Benson's Hideaway, though that was when I was just a wee lad and didn't know of its UFO significance.

The father-in-law-to-be of one of my close friends is an enthusiast and has attend UFO Daze a number of times. He claims to have witnessed strange lights in the sky as well during these events. I haven't thought to ask if he's seen one anywhere else.

It's a shame I didn't attend last summer, as I'd given it thought. The video is pretty mundane. The hopeful part of me says, "Damn, I wish I would've been there." The skeptical side then asks, "Why? So you could stand out in the rain staring at sky lanterns?"

Now, I'm not claiming they're Chinese lanterns. I'm claiming they could be, just as I can claim they could be an alien spacecraft.

Speaking of lanterns, are there any types which are known to flash brilliantly like that before going out?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. It's a cool video, but leaves me wanting.

Edit to add: I have found sky lantern commercial sites which give the customer the option of attaching various types of fireworks to the sky lanterns, designed to go off by fuse.

It would be a shame if someone was messing with these people.

Thanks for posting that interesting vid.

I think I've seen that previously on ATS & my conclusion was the objects are a series of helicopters carrying out a series of night flights.

I believe the flight characteristics & flashing lights (albeit extremely out of focus) are all consistent with HC's.

I also think this might have some bearing on the activities being highlighted in this video:

So obviously Chinese lanterns, the one flashing looks as though it caught fire. You can tell when they slowly burn out and fade, also they were all moving in the same direction probably due to the wind blowing that way.

Great stuff Dude & thanks for sharing. I suspect UK/USA secret technology projects at work & yes Scotland is a hot spot.
It is intresting that MOD admits to such projects when discussing sightings from Joe Public. I remember the MOD Dude on NewsNight BBC2 being interviewed talking black triangles etc. being explained away by these joint projects.
Then of course there is the base at RAF Macrinhanish, man that is a long runway.

I note my post above where I state my opinion the objects are HC's.

I also agree with you the appearance & behaviour could be explained via chinese lanterns if the local wind at that level was reasonably strong.

I recall now that in a previous thread I found met charts pertaining to this video that indicated strong local wind that could account for the fast movement of these chinese lanterns.

I also recall looking for local naval bases, etc... & finding some info about that.

I haven't had time to look for all that again.

Superb video. One of the best I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing that find.

The audio quality is pretty good. I don't hear anything in the background which sounded like a helicopter (let alone three or more). If those are heli's, then they're pretty silent. Silent rotor designs are starting to find their way onto the commercial market - I wonder how long the military may have been using tech such as this?

The Franco-German-Spanish subsidiary of the European Aeronautic, Defense and Space Company, Eurocopter, has invented noise-canceling rotor blades that do away with the loud air chopping that gives choppers their nickname.

I don't think these are any of our Military that have been using silencers, I don’t doubt they have such capabilities but not that I know that’s stretching it a bit don’t ya think.

This guy and this crowd of people were all just at some gathering what struck me about it was the fact that you can hear people in reality talking about as its happening This one is for sure a keeper and one I am going to check out .

As I said I was going to check more into this well I have now opened some communication resources on this event, and one that will be comming up soon just like it. All I can tell folks is that I have stumbled on to something very interesting. It seems to be an area that has lots of energy going on that may have something to do with UFO sightings. I am not getting my hopes up too high. I really feel drawn to do this.
This is getting better by the day and I will keep you all informed as new news comes in.
I am trying to get more information so please be patient.

I have been really busy and I apoligize for not getting back with information on this video, as I have thought about the possibilty of these or someof these as chinese ballons caused by wind that day or night i have that information I will post that so that others can for themselves comment on this.

I welcome all feedback ...but please keep it non bashing.

I used to go to Benson's Hideaway a lot in the summers when I was a kid as well.(Used to have a t-shirt and everything.) Spent a lot of time camping at Long Lake and staring at the stars. I never saw a UFO that I know of out there... but I was more into swimming, riding in the boat, and riding my bike so I was pretty exhausted by the time night came around.

Isn't that area built on and around burial sites of the Native Americans? Also there was rumours of a base somewhere near Dundee.

Yes there is a lot of stuff out there from what I am hearing out there, and over in Burlington WI USA.. I am working on all these details about the area maybe that aspect would give an idea of what the area was all about.

Many strange things happen, it's just getting more reliable information and this is all I am attempting to do. Is to post (what could be more of a credible reason to consider such information by certain sources that there is other stuff out in our skies.) Were keep saying that there isn’t but I believe there is. Good point you brought out though, I am not sure that al these things connect like the burial grounds and so forth. Although The same applies to Arizona there is lots of Native ground and Ancient history some believe that there is a connection because this is an open thread to the Hypotheses and theory I welcome any views on that.
