Israel Could Find Itself Forced To Wipe Out Europe

I am a bit confused here

After years of talk about Israel bombing Iran , here out of no where comes this , " Israel could be forced to wipe out Europe " . For some reason I find this a bit suspect and perhaps a diversion of sorts , taking attention away from something else .

So why doesn't Israel sign the nuclear non proliferation treaty and try to make peace with the other nations of the world ?

Try not to take it to heart too much. Most Americans know nothing of hardship. Most (even the poor here) have never been truly hungry in their life. Fear is something that happens at the movie theater or the amusement park - a momentary thrill, soon forgotten.

People on this website would clearly make fantastic military strategists. The predictions of war which always come true and the slippery slope fallacies that riddle said predictions make some of you highly qualified to head such militaries as Mali and Kyrgyzstan.

These topics always boil down to both sides launching all their nuclear weapons at the other and no one takes the time to consider how illogical and unrealistic such a conflict is.

Israel would not fire it's nuclear weapons at Europe (and vice versa), and even if it did, it would not cause "nuclear winter" for two reasons. One, because it wouldn't take long to destroy Israel. And two, because nuclear weapons aren't as powerful as people think. Sure, enough of them could cause nuclear winter, but it would take more than one just to take out a major city. Now imagine that on a global scale.

Some of you really need to come back down to Earth and live with the rest of we proles.

Thats assuming it remains a limited exchange. No garantees, paranoia being what it is! America or some other capable would probly become involved, and so starts a chain reaction.

If your prepared to use one and know retaliation will come, then its not unreasonable i think, to assume the agressor or and the retaliator will decide, 'one in all in'. Neither side knows if the other will stop at one, both assume destruction.

That's the insanity behind the matter.

It's simply not true! Some historian, who gets their ideas published on an openly radical site made this up. Now we are having this discussion. I am dumbfounded.

The idea behind being a conspiracy theorist, should be finding real information which leads to possible cover ups or plans. It shouldn't be to grasp onto every radical idea which somebody posts on the internet.

One thing that people need to realize is that the NPT is not mandatory. It may be a good idea, but it is not mandatory.

There are several treaties that many countries have signed and other countries have chosen not to. The NPT is no different. Furthermore, if every county who had nuclear technology was required to sign the treaty, wouldn't that diminish the significances of signing in the first place?

I have not personally read the NPT all the way through, so I don't know everything that it requires a country to do. What I do know is that it was a treaty made by multiple countries and Israels signature is not required.

I'm thinking that Israel is pretty well self-sufficient both financially and militarily. But perhaps that is a different thread.

The topic: Israel could find itself forced to wipe out Europe.

I've yet to see any compelling evidence to support that statement.
