Sorry if this is in the wrong forum, but I wasn't sure where to post this. Anyway I have been thinking about writing small phrases on dollar bills that raise awareness, maybe a phrase or maybe "google ____". Do you think this would be effective to "wake up" a few like minded individuals? What would you suggest writing on the bills? Which topics do you think deserve to be spread to the general pop? Any comments thoughts or suggestions are welcome...

Not a bad idea imo. I've seen messages on euro bills once or twice but they weren't anything important. I wonder though, are "tainted" bills cleaned or removed from circulation once they go through a certain medium, like a bank for instance? I dunno, just wondering.

Little messages referring spiritual and political awareness, obviously, would be on the top of the list. One of the most important issues to raise awareness about is, I think, local political and corporate issues, like corruption, lack of morals and other ineptitude among "those in charge".

Just raise a little hell, as long as what's said is true.

I love getting money with messages on them. I have seen many twenties with 911 references on them, or someone has drawn a 4 before the 20 to raise awareness for pot issues. Then I have seen some with suzy loves joey, hi mom, drawing funny things on the presidents faces, like devil horns and joints coming out of the mouth.

Good for a chuckle, and if it makes someone dive deeper into an issue, go for it.

Dont they say the dang things are worthless anymore anyway?

What better way to assign worth than at least a written message?

Interesting topic!

true, but how could anyone prove that you actually wrote on the bill unless you confessed?

i mean, its legal tender which could easily change hands a few times a day at least.

it won't matter cause those types of bills if make it to the bank are destroyed and replaced ... so not much would come out of it...

Exactly. Its the same reason the whole "wheresgeorge.com" thing never really took off.....all the bills that have writing on them dont make it too far.

As I understand it, writing in the border of a bill does not fall under the laws of defacement. I am not 100% certain on that, but I believe it is true.

I think that is a great idea, inspired. I have thought about flyers or little cards to leave in random places, but even your own printer is a grass. Printers leave an invisible code, that can be traced to your pc and then to you.
You know, it could catch on, become the new craze. We would also have a feel for how many are really waking up. Many of us have been put down for speaking, so, are we the silenced few or are there more than we imagine?
I think it would be fun. Money would then be good for your soul, instead of the root of all evil.

Could you please explain this in a little more detail?

I am not aware of any"code" being left behind by a printer.

If you mean that each printer ( or in the old days typewriter ) has its own signature printing style then yes, I agree.

But in order for that to come into play here is how it would have to work:

You print something - you hand it to someone - that someone is killed - a video tape shows you handing that someone the printed article - the police ID its you and come to your house and take your printer to run tests - the tests prove the 2 printers in question are one.

You ( or the printer ) must be indentified before a match could ever be made.

Now, if your sayimg there is a secret hidden "code" or primer involved, I would encourage you to take a printer apart sometime and have a look see inside.

Haha, that's a good idea. I'd pen in the best websites around the edges, like www.projectcamelot.org and infowars.com

You know, it would be even cheaper if people would just summon up the courage to cut little square pieces of paper and put informatinal websites on them and pass them around to random people walking by.

Great idea! Better start this while we still HAVE paper bills. Ten years from now...?.....we'll be a cashless society IF......we're still here that is.

Yes, every single modern printer prints out an invisible "code" a series of barely visible yellow dots that can spell out the time it was printed even the model of printer used. With a little effort i bet they could track it to a single source.. scary times we live in.

I am all for this idea, it is a great one. Anything that will help the general population wake up to the oppression that every country seems to be heading towards is a great help. Myself, i have been doing this for a little over a year, not ob money per say but on any medium. some may call this vandalism, and i agree. but in many cases i think it is completely justifiable.

Hey OP great idea, id keep the messages short and unassuming, just a little something to cause the reader to research for themselves

It's a great idea. Good way to spread the info.

"with intent to render such bank bill, draft, note,
or other evidence of debt unfit to be reissued, shall be fined
under this title or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. "

Who put it on the bank note? Can they prove the intent? This is typical false law, color of law, bs, there is no crime without the above deliberate intent. Is that the intent, to make it unfit? of course not... none of their business what the intent it. The burden of proof is on the accuser. Don't worry about it. If you're inclined, proceed!
