Police Officer Sentenced To 18 Months

That particular cop might have gotten what he deserved in this case,
however, I take offense to what you said about cops and law enforcement "in general". You make it sound as if all cops are rotten
to the core. I can't believe anyone would actually think that way.
No, I am not a cop and don't wish to be. I would like to see any of the
whiners on this post get along in society without them. Why can't you
realize that there are bad people in every profession. So does that make
"all" people bad? You make it sound that way. I know all of the police in
the towns here locally, and I don't remember any of them being in trouble
or being sentenced to jail for anything. They deal with the crud of the
earth day in and day out. They all should be paid three times what they
are getting now just to put up with the crappy society we all live in today.

I just hope the OP and a couple of others that were caught being jerks,
never really need a cop. If I was a cop and knew a particular person was
a habitual criminal and thumbed their nose at authority, and that person
called for assistance to bail their butt out of trouble, I would take my sweet
time getting to their house. Might even stop for a cup of joe and a donut
or four and then drive to their house real mosey like.
