Folks, I make a proposal. There are far too many glood and doom predictions and those who insist they are real. How about from now on, anyone who makes a claim about a specific date, which then passes like any other day, MUST be required to have their Avatar bear some sort of indictor of their gullibility. Perhaps it could read something like "Doomed to fail on March 24th 2010" for example.

Any thoughts? Should their be consequences for making failed claims pending catastrophe?

Hopefully this will be the end to this nonsense.

I have seen many of these threads in the years I have been here.

Do the 'doom-predictors of' become happy or sad when they are wrong?

Can i just interject that the date as was given did not take account for the conversion from the Gregorian to Julian calendar. Therefore the end of the world is delay for another 8 days,

the management apologizes for the ineptness of the universe!!

Refunds can be obtained from the ticket office!!

March 24th, 2010 (strike through)
one of these days, they may get it right

Just like one of these days, the stock market should have a correction where it goes down longer than just a day or a week or two.

So today 3-25-2010

But I do have a Doomsday prediction...
if my youngest son gets another F on his math test today...
his mom is going to rain "DOOM" down on his head when he gets home...

Now that is a prediction with a high likelihood of coming true, Today!
