Minority births on track to outnumber white births

You can thank our government for the above. Has nothing to do with minorities taking over.

Well, because I can only tell my opinion from where I live, I have seen that since I moved to GA with my husband during his military career twelve years ago, (we retired here) entire small towns has been taken over by illegal immigrants, I worked as an interpretor for the federal court locally and it was illegal immigrants with criminal backgrounds that I did the interpretations for, I can tell you that yes the standards of living in many areas been run over by some of the immigrants has forced local citizens move out of their comunities due to higher rates of crime and standards of living going down the crapper.

Sad but truth, now, I can not talk for anywhere else in the nation, but just my neck of the woods.

Frankly, I can't wait for this to happen. When whites become the minority, one of two things has to happen:

1. We get tons of scholarship opportunities, we get to have our own Congressional White Caucus, we can form the United White College Fund, we get to have White History Month, we get extra points on job applications since we will be contributing to minority hiring, we get our own hate law protection acts -- no more calling me a whitey without going to jail! Perhaps I could even call myself English-American!

2. We can finally experience ACTUAL equality. No special programs. No special groups. No special names -- we all become Americans.

Equality is the founding mythos of our civilization because it unites three groups.

The proles. These are people who do not have a trade, work in cubicles, and really haven't specialized in much of anything. They like equality because when you have nothing, equality is like a free boost to the next level.

Business. Nothing has more powerful marketing than equality. Everyone's equal, if they've got $8.99 for our product. Come one, come all.

The oblivious consumer. Our society is consumerist, or driven by the purchases of consumers, mostly the eroding middle class. They want us to just keep the peace, that oldest of bourgeois values.

This happy coincidence means that it is very, very hard to find anyone in the West willing to go on the record about racial differences of any kind, but all of the above three groups will loudly and violently assert that there are no physical differences between races, castes/classes, genders, etc.

Are you trying to turn this into an immigration issue?

Same thing was said when blacks started moving into different areas as well.

I can show you blocks after blocks that used to be white neighborhoods and were abandoned once blacks moved in.

You can't go out and blame it all on illegal immigrants because you don't know if they are all illegals. You are assuming.

And I guess illegals are the only ones who contribute to a higher rate of crime. Have you ever thought that their could be a possibility that your community is targetting the Hispanic community more than other races? Therefore, it may give the appearance that Hispanics(illegals) are doing all the crime.

Not doubting your story, but looks can be deceiving. As far as the illegal immigration issue, it needs to be tackled. I am for keeping illegals out, but it irks me when people want to lay all our problems on illegals.

At some point, we have to look in the Mirror and realize that we created illegals. Because when times were good, very few cared what illegals were doing.

Furthermore, we keep electing the same officials who keep promising to take care of the illegal immigration issue and who have yet to do so.

As my point in this thread, I don't see a problem with minorities taking over. IMO, they are as American as any white person. They may do things differently, but still American.

Actually is obvious to me that is a very big conspiracy going on with illegals, the government and polices.

But when it comes to what goes on, in my community, surrounding areas and the degradation that comes with large among of population shifts, well I will love for you to come down to my neck of the woods and take a peak. . .

BTW remember I am a Latino women also.

I live in South Georgia, not too far from Marg. I am white and have relatives that breed like rabbits and don't work and are nothing but a drain on the system. I know Mexicans that are decent hard working people that only want to make a better life for their families. But there are small town where they have just about taken over and some are nothing but criminals.

Why am I being criticized for posting this thread? I didn't attack any minorities. Yes, I want something to be done about illegal immigration but that's it.

The United States is a melting pot of all kinds of races and religions. That's a good thing.

I also think that I am correct in asserting that this will change our political landscape.

Ok, maybe they are slightly darker skinned but this is mainly down to being in the sun.

Spanish people in Europe tend to be quite indistinguishable from anyone else, aside from a tendancy to be more tanned.

But then, so are Italians, Southern French or Greeks.

All still "white" people though. If I went to live in Spain for a while, despite being a pasty white Englishman, I'd eventually bake and go "brown" too. Doesn't make me "non-white".

Aside from the fact they are illegal immigrants, I'm not sure why this would be an issue. At least you don't have a situation like we have in the UK where the top baby name is Mohammed.

The only reason why Jack is offically number one is because 2nd, 3rd and 6th place is taken up with variations on the spelling of Mohammed, but you add themk together and we have a problem there.

There has never been a nation like America. You're reading the wrong books friend, if you read at all. If you are a fellow American chances are you don't.

Our Diversity is our Strength. If you cannot realize that, then there is something keeping you from seeing it.

Not accusing you of being racist...just a statement of fact.

The things that will cause what you are talking about are the lack of investment in our public schools and education in general. not diversity.

Diversity is nothing more than emotion.

Diversity has never been proven to be beneficial. Not to business, not to the community. In fact, one could say the more diverse a community it is, the more problems it has.

Then they will not by minorities anymore now will they? I live in california the real new mexico and i find it funny that "minority" will still continue to blame their problems on racisim when they in fact they make up the majority. Can we expect to see a white college fund, a white entertainment channel and classes for kids who only speak english?

I'm white and I am mistaken for being a Mexican a lot, even by Mexicans. I work in the sun and get very dark sometimes.

Well according to the BBC, the thread subject has come true.

Children from racial and ethnic minorities now account for more than half the births in the US, according to estimates of the latest US census data.

Black, Hispanic, Asian and mixed-race births made up 50.4% of new arrivals in the year ending in July 2011. It puts non-Hispanic white births in the minority for the first time.

That is true because most white people consider their ability to afford kids. So great we can be another socialist country they'll be leaving in droves then, since they are notreally citizens and have no loyalty to America, when we become communistic. This does not bare well on the state of our country's politics at all. I have no desire to become another Russia or China or Cuba, Thank you very much.
