Good video, star and flag.

I think the vid is a little overly optimistic in regards the internet, which can easily be just as agenda driven and pop culturally influenced as any other medium, but other than that, I agree with most of his points.

To really enable the progress to a type 1 civilisation, it would require some form of global governance, to push these ideas forward against any opposition.
Add to that ,the fact we have all sorts of biological/nuclear and chemical weapoms that could wipe the human race out in a flash.

It would take a united global community to be united to achieve type one civilisation. From what we know of the world any unification for the improvement of society is a long way off.

In my pesimistic opinion, humans will probably end up going the way of the dodo.

i really liked this guy michu kaku before i saw in one of the universe series that he is for the one world government and NWO, he pushes the man made global warming agenda, he even advertises the micro chip, he said that soon humanity will have chips in their heads as storing devices, he is also all in for artificial intelligence, seriously F*** this guy
if you notice he is all over the popular science channels, and popular documentaries, TPTB let him speak because he plays well with theirs agenda, while the scientists that have different theories are ridiculed and locked up

i really think michu kaku as smart as he is, is NOT to be trusted

knowledge without wisdom is self-destruction

Greatly enjoyed this thread. My comment is on the last few minutes: The reason a lot of good people cannot fathom that the world is moving to even more large scale deception and control is because they believe in the inherent goodness of people. They have trouble imagining that many people are willing to kill and deceive on a massive scale for their own pleasure and greed for power is because they can not imagine doing it themselves. This is usually what is said on the news in response to conspiracy theories. Something like: You believe the government killed millions for profits and then lied about it, in a conspiracy involving hundreds of people? "Well thats absurd" "Yeah I have trouble believing that".
Hopefully good people will push us past all of this s***. Unfortunately right now those that want to drive us to a world totalitarian government have the upper hand.

While what you say may be true, it is important to remember that if "free energy" and things like that (which are implied by the concept "type 1 civilization), the world would end within a year, maybe two.

Unlimited, free energy allows for the deployment of massive energy weapons by nations such as Iran. We are talking about making the H bomb look humane and miniscule.

Of course the "NWO", or whatever you want to call the rich old farts pulling the strings, wants to stifle humanity as long as possible. Of course it is worth killing for. But more important to me is that there are really twisted segments of humanity that would destroy the rest of us because of some insane, demented fervor.

I agree with that statement. I too was and still kind of am a fan of Micho Kaku, he really does have some good ideas and is not afraid to pear into the unseen. Unfortunately he does pose a threat to the 'liberty' minded free peoples of the world. But like Nazi scientists, genius and insanity are two sides of the same coin.

Nice thread I flagged it and stared the author.

First of all I want to share my concern that

THIS

HERE

NOW

might be the only AND THE LAST thing close to a

transition to a type 1 civilization that we will ever get and I mean

EVER.

Even as the same race in another civilization, a future one, they will have to live with the problems they will inherit from the old civilization. This one. problems like a poisoned environment from a nuclear war and God knows what else we have not discovered yet to throw at each other and of course pollution. Lots of it. I seriously don't know how these future generations will ever make it if it finally turns out that this civilization might serve a complete reboot to the next one that follows, plus the pollution and destroyed resources.

THIS, HERE, NOW.
The Internet.

Yesterday a member posted a thread asking a question about :
"Does science know why electrons vanish out of existence for a second and appear in another place?" in which I had the pleasure of participating trying to help the OP and myself to understand a tiny bit of how reality is viewed through quantum mechanics.

Actually I did a bit searching and it feels that your question might be answered (might not, uncertainty, lol) if you focus on Quantum teleportation, then read a bit about the Copenhagen interpretation until you reach the Consequences part where that weird cat hides inside a box with the radioactive substance and becomes either dead or alive (or both). Whatever is doing is an Wave Function.

But first you need to know what a space is (mathematical space, not the geometrical one). That space maps the possible states of a (quantum) system. The function we talked earlier repsesents what happens in that space (Still with me?) but rest not yet, because you also need to understand that the possible states of the system from that space that is measured by a function is mapped in complex numbers and a complex number is a number that is comprised by a real and by an imaginary number.

I think I did a lousy job explaining, but I just stood and thought to myself that what I was really doing it was interacting with another human being probably thousands of miles away, meanwhile other people too were observing the interaction and figuring out, probably, where the flaws of my thinking were, or the OPs understanding of the whole concept. Also how a group of people was perceiving this whole issue about the OPs question through their own posts and all that system of interaction was giving insights and information to an even larger group of the readers that never responded.

So this is not just a click and post through an electronic message technology, that is readily available to us. It does more things that are not readily conceivable and that is just ONE of the things you can do over the Internet. One could say "Well, that's not a big deal. My every day life does not seem so much different, apart from online dating and email and of course some pass time over some random forum boards." Of course the realization might not be observable at a first glance, at least at the early stages, but how much of our thoughts, of our ways of thinking, ways of socializing, problem solving, communicating will change lets say in 20 years from now, thanks to the Internet?

In matters of communication and remote interaction we already ARE at a type 1 stage of a civilization. Now all we have to do is to drag everything else we need to that same level. We are achieving this feat because the dissemination and access of information is free to everyone, instantly.
WE HAVE TO KEEP IT THIS WAY if we really expect that anything of value is to come out of all this.

The first sign of censorship of the Internet, of limiting free access to information, is the first sign that our civilization won't make it to the future. As it will also be the sign that the next one will have a very hard time to adapt to the unfriendly environment they will inherit.
Seriously, people.

THIS IS IT!

Make every visit, view, post, interaction count!
Time is racing against us.

While he may not know "it all", he knows a lot.

His theory on Time Travel opened my mind. WIDE.
