The utopia that is described in this video is in disagreement with all of human history. There is no government, worldview, or way of living that everyone can just be cool with. There is not such point in the future as the one in which there is a peaceful one-world order. We have seen time and again that this is contrary to human nature, so much so that it is an impossible achievement for humans, no matter how great it sounds.

Technological improvements are great, but all that stuff about a peaceful one-world society of "platinum" prosperity is a fantasy.

Meh, a one world order will happen..its our destiny.
Will it happen peacefully? probably not. We see how it is happening year to year, War, prop up a government, and move to the next area.

Eventually there will be a functioning UN that will have alot more power to enforce its rule..I dont believe we will dissolve our countrys overall, but it will be about the same as the states are in the US now...

It has to happen, it will happen, its already happening, and the only question is, will it be completed through bills or through blood....the end is a certainty, how we get to there is open for debate.

I agree. I just think that the idea that the transition will be peaceful, or that the end result will be anything like a utopia, is totally unrealistic.

I think the end result will be fine, but it will be rather messy getting to that end result to begin with.
If you consider the origins of the USA, we are currently a pretty great country insofar as unity. you dont hear Georgia wanting to invade Florida, etc...but there has been civil war here, plenty of state pride, even a revolution to begin with.

I think the history of the NWO will be similar, from simple bickering, to full blown attacks and grumping, but over time people will conform...might take several generations to get used to the idea...and the peoples mindset of today will obviously have to die out...but no doubt it will happen and be peaceful.

Sadly, until the beast of economical slavery is killed, until the money god is slain, and until people realise that we all do not need 72" LCD tvs and HUGE SUV's etc..

We will remain a type 0..

UNtil we solve hunger, houseing, and such equally for everyone.. we are destined to the misery we endure. Until we stop trying to short-change everyone, stop trying to get more, and more.. until we actually stop making everyone sick with drugs that do not help, but only cover symptoms.. until we realise that there is more then what is on the silly rock.. we are destined to continue perpeuating the cycle.

I beg to differ..

Everywhere I go I go without the aid or asistance of any government. I don't need them to go to town or get some food or sleep Or even to reply on here.

I don't need them telling me what to do or hgow to live or suggesting that their party is the only party and all should bow down and follow them..

I have no problems with allowing others to sit in the street cross legged whilst chanting mantras. I have no issues with the birds pooping over everyones cars. I don't have a problem sharing a bus with complete strangers.

These things, and many, many more we all do without the need for a government.

As for those who go around smashing stuff up or mugging old ladies for their bus pass, well, their tune will soon change when they begin to realise the difference a truly open society can achieve...

Why would you want to smash a tube train up when you can go anywhere you please, at any time, and most probably, for free.

When the value of all material things is ZERO and the value of individual life reaches a point where it is beyond priceless, then perhaps our mind sets will change and adapt to accept a peaceful co-existance.

We don't need wars, or weapons... Our governments do.
We don't need taxes or bank accounts.... Our governments do..
Our governments want you... We don't need them. We already have the maturity to act on our own initiatives...peacefully.

I really hope I get to see us move forward to a type 1 civilization, we do need to stop using fossil fuels and move on with better, cleaner energy.

I would love to be able to hop onto some sort of transportation that could get me to another country in 1/6th of the time it would have taken me via plane. That would be so awesome.

I hate to admit but I do think a one world government will be necessary to achieve a type 1 civilization.

The world is too fractured by political ideologies and religion. To achieve a type 1 the entire world needs to be on the same page working for a particular goal.

Are we ready for a one world government? Absolutely not, there has to be some sort of global enlightenment. I don't know how that would happen maybe a world war, alien contact etc. Whatever it is I see it as being a long way off.

That video was very great. I never realized that Michio Kakuo was in favor of a new world order with a one world government. I thought that he was just saying that a type one society would have one so it could interact with other planets. I liked the ideas in the video.

It would be really neat if we could get over our obsession of fossil fuels. I want my flying car! I want tube transportation. Cars based on hydrocarbon fuel are so passe.

How very Reaganesque. He once spoke saying if aliens came down, all fighting on earth would stop, all differences set aside, and the people would be one (summerizing). I would agree, but obviously we cant wait for ET to come down...if you believe in ETs, you also must understand they aren't going to help us out on this one..else they would have already.

So, its up to us...

I think most "futurists" realize it must happen...and are in favor of a star trek type united earth with beneviolent transparency in the government allowing each state to remain unique and independent, but working towards a common united goal.

The sad thing is, whenever anyone starts talking about constructing this vision, about 25% start buying guns and talk about going down shooting. Maybe that will end up happening...cut the baggage off so we can progress forward. Luddies have always tried to hamper progress.

That's not a half bad video! As far as the ETT system, yeah workable and in the event of a catastrophe instant population reduction on a grand scale, but hey, you wanna go fast and painless or slow and in constant despair?

Now, on my boy Michio, back in the mid 90's after he wrote Hyperspace I talked to him a number of times. He was a pretty nice guy, sort of stuck in his ways from all the "university" programming and indoctrination, but still pretty open minded. If he reads this he'll remember our talks about using adiabatic reactors for fusion and the ridiculous wastes of energy in particle accelerators (deceleration is the key as it's easier to push particles together using sub atomic degeneracy). Anyway, since he started doing the TV series and other engagements he seems to have changed into more of a puppet. I guess he was happy with the carrot to conform. It's a shame, I used to have a lot of respect for him. It was actually his book and the talks that helped me develop a spatial collapse communication system that is in the universities now under R&D.

I've known other people that grabbed the conformist carrot like Maurice Strong (1990/91, Ontario Hydro) who IMHO has turned into a total @ssclown and is now living (read hiding) in China. If he reads this, remember the hostage situation in Chad and how pissed off you were with foreign affairs and I was pissed with them for what they did to me in SA?

Anyone can be bought.... and as my CO in CI for R&D projects used to say. "I can always trust a bought man as long as I meet his price."

If Michio has been turned (as it appears) just ignore what he says and spread the word. There is no value in compromised and purchased "experts."

Cheers - Dave

Interesting video...I will watch some more of this guys posts as well. Good find!

I enjoy his rebuttal of Michio's limited and uninformed 'pie in the sky' view of a happy one world order. No matter how smart you are, you can still be naive and too trusting. "The pathway to hell is paved with good intentions" indeed. This video is the first that I have seen that addresses the dissonance between human technological progress and technological enslavement that could be used in order to maintain the 'old world order'.

I have always been interested in Michio's work, and I was disheartened when I learned that he was for this whole 'man made global warming' hoax and outright saddened when he defended the E-mails that called for persecution of scientists who would not "go along to get along" while being interviewed by Art Bell on C2C AM.

Either there is a one world order, or as a civilization we are #ed. Simple as that.

You make good sense. We need national administration to deal with the paperwork and infrastructure management, not governance. 6 year olds in a class room need governance, not the people of a developed country.

That's because real science recognizes it as fact (of course, any real science is not without it's faults). I will listen to the real scientists any day over the right wing talking heads and conspiracy theorists. Much damage is being done to our planet because of this latest anti environmental spin - and I resent the hell out of that.

Wow, the end of that video was powerful. The fact that governments continue hiding information from the people and make it's own citizens look like the bad guys could not be more accurate. The real terrorists are those in charge further expanding this world domination as this video called it. Now, there are terror groups all around the world, the question is, how do we stop them? Using force doesn't seem to be doing anything except for making things more hectic!

Peace is what everyone wants and hopes for, but humans have been fighting for all of history. How do we make a transition from a quarreling society to one that is completely peaceful if we have never had a truly peaceful world? That I'm not sure about but hopefully, one day that will come.

"A lie has speed; Truth endures" I paraphrase but hat's off to alienscientist for the quote.

Can I use that or do you have copyright on it?

I'm kidding, of course. Never had a joke I didn't steal!!

BTW Mr alienscientist, keep up the good work. Although discourse with one's peers on a more technical level has it's rewards, physics can be explained to the laity without equations.

Been following alienscientist for a while now and he trully is one of the brightest minds on youtube.

I can't wait for the transition to a type-1 civilization.

I don't want to wait, I know for a fact we already have the technology to make this a paradise but a hell like it is now provides a more controllable atmosphere.
