Ohio Man Claims to Have Captured Evidence of UFOs

www.foxnews.com

It's a bird ... it's a plane ... it's a UFO?

That's what one Lake Erie, Ohio, resident is claiming. Eugene Erlikh snapped a half a dozen photos of something unusual floating in the sky. Erlikh believes the photos show a UFO, Fox8.com reports.

Erlikh told Fox8.com that the objects emitted "brilliant" colors and were flying solo, and occasionally in group formations. The objects appeared to be "making line formations and triangles in the sky."

Erlikh, an EMT and paramedic student, also recorded video footage of what he says are "astonishing captures."

There has been a whole bunch of sightings over lake Erie. Being that it's one of the shallowest of the great lakes, it seems odd to me. There are salt mines under the lake, so that may be of some significance. These are some decent pictures, but what surprises me the most is that Fox News didn't call this guy a crack pot or wacko. Perhaps the tides are turning and honest reporting of UFO phenomenon will be possible.

My vote goes to it being either Mars, Venus or Sirius.

But we haven't got much to work on besides a rough direction, which is looking over the lake to the east. That's where you'll find both Mars and Sirius and Venus will be rising early in the morning just before sunrise.

Couple that with the fact that it's been spotted five nights in a row in the same spot and yeah nothing more than a star.

Just once, can we ever be supplied a picture of a UFO that was not taken with crappy exposure at night, or blurry daytime?

Have you ever tried filming something in the sky at night?

It's nion impossible, especially if you're using the camera on your phone. (which is what most people will use, as it's the most available thing)

Go on, try it, and bring us some fanstastic footage of what ever you can film in the sky at night. Could be a plane, anything. But make it film standard. As this is what you want.

Wow, that is one of the worst UFO photos I've ever seen. It's a tiny white spot on a plain black sky. It may as well be a star

Not worth reporting on IMHO.

I want to see evidence just as much as the next ATS'r here.

But jeez - those two pics were ludicrous! A "spec" of a blurry white dot against a night time backdrop.

I don't think FoxNews* needed to belittle the image - the quality of it speaks for itself, sadly.

(* always laugh to myself when I see 'Fox' and 'News' together!)

An old teacher of mine told me he sees UFO's on daily bases. He is a teacher in graphic design. So he is a semi-pro photographer. With state of the art gear
And his pics are crap as hell as well.

He also admits he used to take a lot of '___' in his hippy days...

Need I say more?

Well, you needent say anymore, but you can insinuate that he's hallucinating some more
. I took lots of acid when I was younger, I don't see strange things in the sky all the time. I did once, a massive triange. I wasn't tripping, or suffering from hppd (which I do suffer from a little bit now) Maybe he's telling the truth. maybe it's just very hard to get a decent picture from the black night sky.

If you check out the video with the story, there is a bit more as far as pictures go. But I admit, what is shown in the two pics the news reported, look just like a bright star. I grew up in this area and never saw anything. But there are a large number of sightings with people claiming the lights are moving over lake Erie. I tend to think more towards domestic UFO's rather than other worldly. Having Wright Patterson AFB to the west, makes it seem plausible. My parents once told me about a UFO sighing they had, they described the B2 bomber. In 1975. It was in a remote area west of Cleveland.

I think there might be something to the USO thing as well. that is why I commented on the depth of the lake. Hard to hide in 56 feet of water. But the salt mines might offer some cover.
