nah, I mean the guy who has that show and contacts peoples dead close ones, and he's obviously full of doo doo. Anyone that buys that creep and fraudster make me ill.

You've probably seen him do it before. What he'll do is put signs around the building or subliminal messages, as well as using word association and disassociation. I really am going to learn this stuff one day.

What really makes me wonder is the fact that if some dude on tv can do it, think of all the government agents that can do it, as well as everything on TV e.t.c. How long has it been going on for? Probably a very long time, think about it.

Watch Tony Blair the next time he does a speech, the things he does with his hands really concern me. Luckily I don't buy it.

That generally happens when you watch him. Did you see his program on playing against those 9 top chess players at once. When he explained it, it was so clear until he said he 'genuinely couldn't remember' how he did the mot amazing part of it. Strangely because he explained part of it, there were even more questions to be asked and the illusion worked better as we were more confused than we were before he started explaining. Hope I am making some sense. I am tired but don't want to sleep yet as my mind is racing and is it dark in there!

Right then nothing that happened was paranormal it was all in the mind on that TV show. First of all the reason the people watching the TV picked Jane was because Derren done one of those silly little tricks where nearly everybody ends up at the same place such as that number game I'm sure you have heard (e.g. Think of a number, times it by 2, minus 1, divide by 3, etc... and nearly everybody ends up with the same number). The reason most of the students got Jane was because every few seconds Derren pointed at that card like using it as an example and he moved that one round a lot therefore grabbing the attention of the students. The reason that girl threw that instrument was because as Derren said she was in unconscious fraud that made her do things she didn't expect. Now also the mind played a big part in all of this when someone is told a place is haunted then their mind is going to play tricks on them it always happens I have even suffered from it myself. That is also why when that student went into the room that was said to be 'haunted' she was looking around and her mind was playing tricks on her. That is also why that guy freaked out he was pretty scared before he went in trying to hide with arrogance but fear was there and when the curtain was shut he probably began to 'see' things because of the fear causing him to panic and shout. Derren also said that these students were hand picked that means he picked the most jumpy ones, the ones most likely to freak out. Even when they done the oujia board he explained that they were moving the glass but they were not aware I cannot remember the name Derren gave it but he explained it not throughly but he did explain it. Then when they did the last part where 'Jane' spoke through that girl she was actually coming with the answers even though she wasn't aware, how? because once again as has been described he leaves messages when he talks that peoples minds grasp on to. And during the show when they had people phoning up with their experiences someone said 'I saw Jane during the show she appeared to me' it was obvious he was lieing because at the end we met Jane so how could he have seen her! See when trying to prove paranormal it doesn't help when people lie. Even at the beginning he acted like a spiritialist even though he isn't by describing one of the students dead grandma he said he done it the same where spiritialists do it by guessing and making it sound like he is in contact. Once again it was all based around the fear in peoples minds even when I was sitting there my girlfriend looked to the curtain and freaked she said 'it moved' then I had to explain the window was open! I don't think anyone can deny Derren Brown is amazing with what he does I no longer believe in spiritlism after seeing that after he explained how it works. Well thats my opinion on what happened so if anyone disagrees kindly post below.

Derren Brown has an ability that we all share but seldom conciously tap.

I have, as yet, not seen any other person/performer who is capable of reading people to the degree that he does.

Does he really know what he is actually doing?

Unfortunately I missed the programme, but i'm sure it will be repeated.

I saw another of his programmes over the weekend, and am saddened to say that he may end up going the way of David "The T!T" Blaine, as I got the distinct impression he was using stooges in part of the show.

All i can say now is im looking forward to the next Darren Brown special, the things he can do with the mind are unbelievable.

Errr...yes Mikomi we get this, that was the whole point of the show.

He was doing it to prove there is no such thing as a real seance or the paranormal, but by using mind control and suggestion. He kept saying this throughout the entire program.

Yea I know but a few places I been to have been suggesting that it was real and so I added it to the post I know you get it but I don't think everyone did and I'm not saying that anyone here didn't get it I was just pointing it out as part of my post

A few people I have seen and a few websites I have been to are suggesting that it is all real.

I added it to the post because that is what I wanted to add just in case anyone viewing this forum thought it was real thats all.

Also it was part of my post that is why I started with that sentance.

I don't think no one thought it was ghosts due to the fact Darren Brown is famous for mind control,etc.

I said that a few people I had seen thought it was real that is why I started with that sentance it really isn't that big of deal I said it end of story no need for a discussion on it.

It was all fake that Derren Brown plays with your mind its his job or profesion todo so he's good at what he does ive seen this type of stuff done before and how its done. ..Ch5 monkey magic did the asme type of thing and show how it was all done i just say bahhhhhh pffft to Derren Brown some times.

People thought it was real even though he brought the real girl out at the end, and proved she was an actress and it was all fake? Can I have a link then, I need to tell these people how stupid they are.

Seeing as his show is called "Derren Brown: Mind Control" that's a bit of a giveaway as well.

I think I remember him once saying that in the summer holidays he was very lonely as he was an only child so he taught himself various things including learning all the combinations of cards in Poker of something...I don't know anything about card games. That was on the episode where he went gambling and nearly got �100,000 but he blew it at the end by playing normal roulette - Not Russian!. Maybe he thought it was unfair to get that kind of money while working for a TV channel.

You wouldn't need to brainwash Tony Blair. You can get him to do things so easily if you are in the right position.

I would like to see those links too, i don't know how people could think it was real seeings you saw the girl in the end.

Here you go nada he has a live chat with fans or who ever after the show I think forums and the link to last nites show should find the stuff in there you need.seems like you will just took a look to prove how fake last nites show was.

It says on that site how he made people fall asleep with the telephone. I think that's unethical because they could get robbed or something else while sleeping.
