My God, I feel like I got punched in the gut.

I didn't know him as a personal friend, but I am absolutely shocked by this. He was a great mind, maybe too great for this world. I knew he was around my age but younger? Certainly no one so eloquent could be so young.

I know wherever he is he is making the most of it, that's just his way.

My condolences to everyone. Its beautiful to see how many people he touched without ever meeting them.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family. Jkrog truly had some interesting threads and insight and I am honored to have been able to share in that. R.I.P. Jkrog08.

You will be so sadly missed by many here on ATS, What a sad day for our community,

I remember you panicking when you first become an FSME, You where worried you where going to press buttons by mistake
I remember the u2us we shared, I remember telling you not to worry that i myself had hit them buttons by mistake a whole bunch of times, and that you where never really a staff member on ATS until you had slipped on those silly buttons,

Those u2us now are memories, And ones i wish to now hold on to,

RIP my friend, May you find peace now you have gone to play in the stars,

RIP JKrog

I rarely post on here, I prefer to lurk and learn new things often, but JKrog was one of the few people I could see as the topic starter and knew I was going to enjoy the thread regardless of if I agreed with it or not. One of my favorite posters has just left us for a better place and now gets to know the truth about my favorite mystery in life. Sincere condolences to his family and friends, you'll be missed deeply.

Wow, what a bummer

I never had the pleasure of corresponding with Justin, but I love reading his threads.

Its strange, because as I remember, searching for UFO's and what not on google led me to his threads here on ATS, and actually inspired me to join.

I never met him, talked to him, only read his threads, but learning of his passing has affected me quite a bit today. I guess that goes to show what kind of an awesome person he was.

My condolences to everyone affected by this, the world suffered a great loss today.

R.I.P.

I refuse to flag or star a thread detailing a member's passing. I will however, give my condolences to the family and friend's of Justin's. I will remember the good times spent here and envy the one's spent, never had. I will also offer my condolences to the Pegasus research Consortium whom, has lost a great researcher. RIP Justin and may you travel well, and meet us on the other side.

I have to say this...

I've built businesses my whole career/life but, I've never seen anything as moving as this thread, this one thread on a website, in any of them.

As sad as this day is for our community, it's the day that finally proves, beyond a shadow of a doubt, we really do have something special happening here on ATS.

That something special is YOU, the ATS membership.

Justin was a "one in a million", hell, maybe a billion, we are enriched by the fact he shared his brilliance with us.

I am amazed at the beauty this thread has shown the human internet user to be capable of.

mark...

I spoke to my sister earlier and she was in bits but she would not tell me why.... I now understand.

I really don't know what to say, because he was loved. We all loved cared and respected him. He will be sadly missed, and I will miss him because he helped me through the rights and wrongs of ATS/BTS what to say and what not to say.

Is not to die.

Rest In Peace My Friend.

Justin,

May your journey be easy and smooth.

Thank you for the knowledge you shared, for your passion, intellect and open mind.

The world was blessed by your presence.

And I am sure a very special person is being born now to bring things back into balance.

NO ignorance Now Justin just truth.
