It has nothing to do with pleasing people with certain alleged affiliations, and everything to do with american justice. The US is a nation of laws, well used to be, not men.. what this man or that woman wants.. totally irrelevant to the facts of the case.

These people admitted their guilt and are proud of it.

These people were captured outside the U.S. on the "filed of battle" and thus not entitled to protection under U.S. law. We didn't do that for german saboteurs caught here in WWII. No, they were tried by a military tribunal and executed.

There is a law passed by congress that authorizes the use of military tribunals, so using military tribunals IS American justice" if you want to see it that way.

these people would very likely go back and plan still more murderous attacks if they are somehow let go. there are many people - no doubt - who would not want to be killed or injured simply so that you can ride your high horse.

And what security risk?, I'm pretty sure 300 million americans can take care of one angry dude..

We'd all have to be armed, paranoid, and waiting based on good intel for that to be a reality. But we're not all armed, or paranoid, and good intel? that's a laugh - just like your suggestions.

You can ignore the fact these admissions do not exist until accepted by a court under the rules of evidence all you like... all you're doing is advertising your refusal to understand or learn how american justice works., well.. is supposed to work.

Words from politicians & news sources are not evidence as far as the law is concerned... until a court rules otherwise. Learn it, know it, live it.

KSMs hotel room is a "filed of battle"?.. lmao, uuh, between who?, KSM was battling who? the sleep fairy?

KSM is little more than a wanted man, & murder suspect the DC mafia politicians have re-branded "terrorist" for propaganda purposes... and they know their propaganda will be laughed out of a fair open process.

The US govt "secretly" indicted KSM on terrorism charges re: Operation Bojinka in the US district court southern district of NY Jan 96.. meaning he already had RIGHTS as a suspect in a case before a US court, rights the US govt gave him by indicting in a US court... then took away.

But ok, lets say he is a POW, he should be treated according to the Geneva conventions.. as in not tortured, oops another fail. The US govt wants it both ways here, and it's making a bigger mockery of our judicial system than it already is.

The real bottom line is the oligarch elite wouldn't be fighting to keep KSMs "justice", so called, under their control if they knew their case against him would survive an aggressive defense that challenges the govt story.. they're hiding from the disinfectant of sunshine for a reason or twelve..

But hey, trust & believe the govt all you want.. when they lock you up without evidence or due process, don't complain about having "rights".. if one innocent man can be denied them, we all can be denied them.. it's called legal precedent .. thats why this isn't about any one man, it's about the fractured legal system surviving with "our" eroding rights intact.

In common law legal systems, a precedent or authority is a legal case establishing a principle or rule that a court or other judicial body utilizes when deciding subsequent cases with similar issues or facts.

Translation: if the govt gets away with it with 1 suspect, it becomes a principle that applies to all suspects.. including YOU.
