I affect the radios when they are on I get to close to it in which I cause it to lose the station, but when I back away the radio works fine, electrical components do not work well for me either they are always malfunctioning.
I have noticed if I am angry I get shocked very bad and things around me will fall or move lets just say accidents happen when I am stressed, it is hard to put in words I feel there is a negative energy around me that effect everything I do and touch sometimes.

I have researched this phenomenon and still do not have a satisfied answer for myself.

Hey, don't mention it. I had a similar problem and discovered quite by accident the solution. The last couple of months I don't believe that I've had a single charge potential equalization incident.

Yes it is dangerous. You could be right about wool and fleece, but this seems to happen to me all year round regardless of many circumstances.

My opinion is that this problem is as a result of several things combining. Static electricity is electric energy that is going nowhere. Science cannot measure it. It is invisible to detectors. It could be large amount of potential or a low amount of potential. The body acts as the capacitor. The body has the capacity to hold virtually any amount of static charge imaginable. Enough to even kill your enemy ! One touch and their dead duck. The brain will set up a certain frequency of electromagnetic modulation which is the conduit by which the electric potential will begin charging up in your physical body. This brain wave modulation is what prayer and transcendental meditation is about. It is natures defence mechanism. Similar to the electric eel [a type of fish] for example. It electrically zaps its food to kill it. In Russia there is a man with such high static electric potential like as yourself. He uses it to hold metal objects to his body. Like a kind of gravity. If you live near to a power station or power lines or transformers then you might be picking up charge from them by "harmonic resonance impedance". There might be geological factors at work too. Obviously you will not be able to stop it. Thus you need to learn to live with it. One quick solution which you can try is to shave away your beard and keep your hair short or even shave your head too. If you wear surgical latex rubber gloves you will be insulated when touching objects. Be very careful about shaking hands. You might cause the person to suffer heart failure. In the presence of petroleum be extremely careful. Even you need to ask the attendant to fill your car tank for you. Another idea which you can try out is to manufacture an earthing rod. Drive a long rod of electrically conductive metal into the ground as far into the ground as possible. As a matter of dayly ritual you then need to clasp the top of that rod with both hands so as the charge will go out of your body and into the ground. In deed a general lack of "earth connection" might be the root cause of your problem. In nature we would all be walking around bare footed with our feet directly in contact with the earth. Especially when the ground is wet it is very conductive. Make that earth connection and I believe that your problem will resolve itself. If after all else you continue to suffer this problem then you could try turning it into something profitable. Have you tried some "TELEKINETIC" experiments ? Moving objects around without having to touch them ?

Can you help me ATS understand how that happens? Is it normal that my hand touching the comforter on my bed could cause enough static electricity whereby I could actually SEE the electricity?

The comforter is black, and the room has been pitch black on both occasions where I saw this. So it was easy to see.

I’m sure it’s perfectly normal and that there is a perfectly good scientific reason behind having seen this electricity

And do any of you know what I can do to lower my overall level of static electric conductivity

-Avoid "man-made" fibers and wool clothing. Cotton, linen, and especially silk, are good "insulator" fabrics

-Maintain proper hydration. The body's nervous system is electro-chemically based - the implication is that the body generates its own electromagnetic field, which can, under the right circumstances, result in the build up of a static electric charge.

-Reduce to a minimum excess body hair. Also a generating/concentrating factor in the build-up of staic charges.

I think I will put a post of rebar into the ground and see if I can discharge this energy into it. And I will be shaving my body from head to toe from now on

While I have never tried the ring idea, the point is not to avoid the spark but stop it from being painful. What I do use all the time is my keys. I simply grip my keys and touch them to the metal. It reduces the pain of the shock.

I believe that one could potentially design a ring specifically for the purpose of dissipating static, since all you'd have to do is find the right metal or mix of metals.

So OP did any of the suggestions here worked? Please let us know as some of us are static.

The ring idea seems to be pretty cool. I have never made a ring a before , but surely I can buy one that will be of the right mix of metals. Trial and error would eventually tell me which rings work and which don't.

Most of them I have yet to try, edmc. Though I promise I will get back to this thread and make posts about anything that actually does work.

(Thanks, Truthquest for sending me a u2u asking me to update my situation with this static electric shock.)
Since it is springtime it is somewhat more manageable , but the situation still persists.
I can now conclude that the cold weather enhances this activity.
I am also meditating more now and I find it to be amazing for clearing my mind.

(For anyone who wonders about the electric crow portion of this thread I can assure you that I was completely serious. I am a singer songwriter guitar player performing recording artist and I will be performing as The Electric Crow)

I have also been considering platinum and silver rings as the answer to this problem. I think I could use a combination of platinum and silver rings to sort of 'absorb' the excess energy.

Maybe alternating the two metals on different fingers.

What I HAVE done is I've made sure I don't drag my feet.
I've got rubber souled sketchers on that I think might be helping.

I touch my vehicle, my gas cap, and stand flat footed before pumping gas. I probably look like I'm playing some tune with my hands, but I'm actually just focusing and grounding so I don't start an electro static fire with my energy.
