Problems posting on forums

Well,The old expression is if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I see somebody took somebody else's complaint and put the thread responses below the area where one can respond back.Good idea.I have used it since to go back to the OP original post while constructing my response.

But did you test it out?I have lost a number of replies just by hitting preview.
All my typing and in some cases many minuets of research on other web sites GONE...forever.

I learned the hard way to copy all my response just in case it disappears....forever.I found out if you hit reply,sometimes...sometimes it will post.If not paste it back in and try again.

I did learn one thing though.This happens when another ATSer is also responding to the thread and trying to post their reply while I am attempting to post mine.

Can someone maybe fix this annoyance?

Also those vertical "Click here to get ATS email newsletter banners you have hanging on BOTH sides are a pain.PITA to be precise.

I have MANY times while composing or just reading placed my mouse curser there and the next thing I know there it is asking me to sign up for a news letter.

If you are fixing up the place,fix that annoyance to.
It took me three times to get this to post.

I'm with you on this. I'm suffering the same as you by these problems.

So

I'm backing up the complaint.
I usually use word to compose large texts. Works like a charm.

I am of course using Firefox with several different blocks. I usually do not even see half of what others do unless I unlock my blocking systems.

As for mistakes in posting, Damn, I have gotten them several times before. Everyone has.

Copy as often as possible, just like 15 years ago when computers started. Ohh how I hated to lose all my code!

Agreed! I just joined ATS and that surprised woman on the left and right bypasses my firefox adblock and is annoying. Most members probably got used to it. And everyone knows women don't exist on the internet outside of porn and facebook. I do like to make unnecessary clicks sometimes, and I have accidentally clicked on that woman.

Well it is happening again. Not only the annoying double subscribe buttons on the side,There is one at the top of the page,that should be enough,but I am losing my posts and my threads do not even make it to the board.

Gone non existent, never was. Is there censorship going on ATS?

I have seen what threads I have posted move not to the correct forum ,but all the way to BTS!

IF I WANTED TO POST IN BTS I WOULD HAVE!

Then a moderator does not even respond to my complaint.
