I was a big fan of Big Brother, up until the allstars, with the second run of Dr. Evil.
I dropped out after that becauase that blonde jerk took advantage of that poor girl who shouldn't of been on that show after a nasty breakup. And everyone told her she was an idiot. One thing to be on a reality show, quite another to watch someone get emotionally destroyed. I lost my taste for it after that. She had the long brown hair, Shannon I think?

OK, I've thought of one more, and I believe this is the final one.

But again, I will deny it to the death that I watch this as it goes against everything that I would like to believe in.

I watch TMZ............

I don't know why as I really don't care about celebrities lives, but they do it in a way that I find amusing and entertaining.

there, I said it.................:shk::shk::shk:

Oh, the TMZ gang is great, such light entertainment, right at a time that is perfect for it...that's why it works.

My wife and I even have nicknames for all of them...

Surfer Boy, Reformed Lez, College Girl, Dreadlocks, College Boy, Meatloaf, etc.

Used to be a guilty pleasure, the reality couples shows...those were a riot...Paradise Hotel especially... They were a quick flash in the pan, huh? Probably the precursors to things like Jersey Shore.

I don't think I could watch that drivel now, but when it was new, it was something different...and people got voted off, so eventually, you didn't have to put up with jerks for too long, hehe....

I think that quality TV is a bit thin on the ground these days, so I just take my pick of Reality TV and enjoy that.

I like American Idol, it's only on for an hour or so each week so I've plenty of time left to concern myself with more important things.

I watch Dancing on Ice and Strictly Come Dancing too. Recently there was a programme where pop stars trained to be opera stars.

It can be argued that by making it a competition producers have found a way to persuade viewers to watch bad dancing and singing, but I don't know that I'd bother watching if everything was perfectly done by trained professionals. It can be fun to support your favourite each week and watch their progress. And some of the early rounds are hilarious.

I watch Big Brother - no excuses, I think it's a laugh most of the time. Occasionally you can learn something about human behaviour, but the contestants are so knowing now it takes a lot of the fun out of it.

I've been watching the Vampire Diaries with great interest, but it's not Buffy. And I was quite enjoying Dollhouse, but that' s gone now.

Other than that I look for more serious stuff and, since I can't eat my dinner without having something to take my mind off it, I usually watch an early evening quiz show.

Ok, another TMZer here. And I know exactly who you mean by surfer boy. that cracked me up.

I don't care about celebrity lives, but I agree, the commentary can be quite entertaining.

Lately I've gotten into a show called " Seducing Cindy".

a dating show featuring Cindy Margolis. I think initially I got into it because of her hotness, but it's pretty entertaining.

there's actualy a guy on there off of another show I used to watch " Flip This House" so I was surprised to see him there, .... that reality tv whore.

but usualy I can't stand dating shows, especialy if their on VH1.

Flava of Love was ok, ... but thats cause it was Flava Flav, they've completely raped the concept to death.

Well, the audition week's are fun... For me, the only entertainment really comes from those episodes....with the total nut-jobs, hehe....

Agreed. After that it's just another variety show.

Only with no variety, just singing.

I love when they get told: "Oh this is worth 2 million pounds"
they quietly react with "oh really?" and raise their brows in that oh so English way.

And the Chavs that get "oh your teapot is worth 20 quid" they are delighted through toothless grins.

If I was told my piece was worth 2 mil, I would do moonwalks, and dry hump the old homo doing the evaluation, then and there!

I use to watch East Enders every weekend on PBS with my wife. Red Dwarf and Are You Being Served were other guilty pleasures.

I may be way off base...

But I can't help but think of the Venture Brothers when it comes to guilty pleasures...

Anyway, when we jumped over to Doc, Pete, and Billy, they were scribbling down note after note... Not of ways to save Brock, Hank and Dean, or ways to fix the shrink ray, but lists of "guilty pleasures". Doc and Pete guiltily admitted to thinking a couple of strange women were hot on their lists, but Billy misunderstood the question and really put some sick, guilty-guilty pleasures on his list. "Oiled garbage bag? Sweat sock? Oh, my God! Number three... melon heated in microwave!" Priceless.

www.tvsquad.com...

Guilty indeed....

Venture Monkeys, not just for foiling the Guild of Calamitous Intent anymore...

My mum used to watch Eastenders. They still show it on the BBC. I love Red Dwarf. I don't consider that a guilty pleasure. Wish they would show it again.
