Tsunamis and Earthquakes? And what else?

The Kernel has been following the events of this week with Mother Earth acting up. TONS of news being broadcast on these events. Not that they shouldn't be but it seems that this is the ONLY news. The Kernel can't help but wonder what is going on in Washington. What ISN'T being followed while we are distracted? Yes this may sound paranoid but the Kernel has seen it all.
