A Detroit police officer and sergeant accused with committing payroll fraud have been suspended from their jobs with pay in a decision that Chief Warren Evans called "ridiculous."
Fox 2 says the officer allegedly turned in time sheets for a week that she was actually vacationing on a cruise ship. The sergeant is accused of covering for the officer by saying they talked while the officer was on vacation.

DETROIT - A major crackdown on prostitution is now shutdown after some officers allegedly lied on their official police reports.
It was called "Operation Ice Breaker" and it was supposed to take criminals off the streets, but instead several Detroit cops are off the job.

Wish I could say this is something new, wukky, but I grew up in the burbs of Detroit, and they were crooked back then (60's and 70's). That whole
area has been swirling around the drain for so long now, no one remembers who flushed the toilet to begin with...
