Local law enforcement preparing for revolution?

I am a cop, 9 years almost near Atlanta...NO there is no prep for any revolution. NO cops will NOT fight the military as most of us were the Military...well except those FEW turds who WILL follow orders to kill and lock up their own family.

Bottom line....IF, again IF that day ever comes where the country goes to crap and the PEOPLE decide to stand up to the government for a BETTER CHANGE...not to lute and steal and rape and rob....but to actually make changes that take us back to a nation of WE THE PEOPLE....like the military, most cops will be fighting rght next to you...not against you.

Again keep in mind...thats vs the people who are there to make life better and make good changes for us as a nation. The thugs and scum who try other crap...well...BIG ditches gonna be needed for all them.

This is a little off topic but I have said in other posts that very little will change until vastly larger numbers of people do not have homes to live in and people can no longer get food.

We are closing in on that scenario. If unemployment benefits get cut off expect major problems. And by major problems I do mean riots in the streets of major cities.

I have personally talked to my county sheriff several times.

They will stop any looting but they will join the citizens against any federal type of martial law.

I just keep hearing these attempts to circumnavigate state powers, that is what gets my hackles up. Like the 10 governors move by Barry, also the Interpol move.

City police are statute enforcers. County sheriffs are your real executive branch closest to the people.

Anyway, prepare for the worst, pray for the best.

searching4truth: how about inviting your cop friends to have couple of drinks and at some point start asking questions about coming revolution, how they know this etc. because you know loose drunken lips don't shink ships but gives ATS information...

I was glued to the tv during the Rodney King riots, which were not just in Los Angeles, so it has been in my mind ever since then how close we are to total civil unrest. I agree that it will not be any sort of organized rebellion, rather it will be completely unfocused rioting at a level of ferocity that the United States has never seen. I will probably regret not being more prepared.

American military is American people.

Given... elites brainwash them BUT on a mass scale event,
no military man will go against the PEOPLE...

Some towns may be taken over, here and there;
grow that number to 10 and Military is no longer that of elites'.

Many are awake and will plainly join those revolting.

Sorry 4truth, I didn't mean it in a mean way...lol...tone is hard over the internet. What I am saying is, saying what state you live in really doesn't give anything away...AT ALL...

here in the south, there is NOTHING going on that should worry anyone....

Right now legislation is held up with partisan bickering over an emergency continuation of unemployment benefits for millions of out of work Americans.

Because it would be deficit spending.

Those with the most to lose during a revolution would be business men and the government know greedy bu**ers will fight tooth and nail to protect their wealth.
I believe this is why Infragard was set up, just look at the name guard infrastructure but they dont just mean municipal or society assets they have given businessmen the right to fight against the people in the event of upheaval.
They know its coming.
ADmittedly things like nuclear reactors do need protecting but whose to say a government on its way out because the people have decided enough is enough wouldn't destroy the in place infrastructure putting everyone back ten years, a lot longer if they turn a reactor into a dirty bomb, leaving a large radius uninhabitable and the downwind footprint also unusable for a considerable perid of time, blamed of course on revolutionaries.
Infragard currently has 34.516 members including members of the FBI.
Up until 2006 infragard was a system in which the civilians in e-sensitive industries maintained close links with the Feds to appraise them of weakneses in security and cyber security.
In 2006 the infragard members were given the rights to shoot to kill in defence of any installation deemed sensitive by the Department of Homeland Securities.
So that could be anything and everything.

Domestic terrorism is the new focus for law enforcement. Federal preparation trickles down to the local level a lot faster now. When all hell breaks loose each officer is going to have to decide whether to stand his post or look after his own interests. Each officer will have to decide which order crosses the line of his own morality. Every average joe cop is a symbol of government. Revolution will look like civil unrest and an officer will be right in the middle.

A more likely scenario is this...

The Federal authorities may well have warned of a possibility of martial law ahead. Some Governors for either heroic reasons or jjust opportunistic selfish ones, have been preparing the local law enforcement on how to fight it possibly because if it comes down to the wire, they just might try to cede from the Union in the eventuality of martial law and all power being centralised into Federal hands.

Okay, the poop hits the fan, domestic or foreign troops are on the streets, just how are the local police/sheriffs dept. going to fight/disable tanks and apc's?

They won't.

Many cops will join them or collaborate, the rest will run away.

None of them will fight the enemy or uphold and defend the Constitution, etc....

I live in S Michigan. Nothing out of the ordinary up here. My wife got pulled over by the State Police earlier this week. The officer was polite as could be. She let him know about her concealed carry permit. He let her know about a burned out brake light, ran her plate, and even though she couldn't find her registration and proof of insurance, he didn't ticket her, he let her go. No big deal. There is no sign here of anything happening out of the ordinary.

As far as going to war with the government i believe that most government personnel will oppose the government.

Party with the masses....."conspiracy theorist" are growing in numbers.
