My apologies to you Maybe....maybe not, i did not see the scroll bar. The first photograph does show aliens and i think, the roof of a house. I was thrown off by the statement that the craft had landed in my yard/garden. It landed on the mountain and remained "parked" there. Blacking out my face (and the ufo's i thought) fueled my response for which i do apologize. Simply so you will know, i had 2,818 visitors to my photobucket account today and they all see my face so i took the blacked out face to be a putdown.

You need to focus, i didn't say you were two other people. I said that two of your staunchest supporters were new and had no threads and that they had the same writing style as you. I do not create my own support group as i don't have time for them. I have aliens and so do you. I'm sorry it took so long to respond, but I ask you to please view my post as being a viewpoint from one, independent site member. My view is my own, and it has only been influence by facts and observations.

2d.) Forum Gangs: You will not engaged in an organized collaboration with other members to disrupt thread topics or interrupt the flow of normal collaborative discussion. Doing so will result in removal of your post(s) and immediate termination of your account I have been on ats since 2007 and in that time i never had a foe...until now. Suddenly, i find myself with an entire list of them. Funny thing is, they are all in this forum. It gets better, they are all new members with no threads, very few posts, no personal information. For some reason these people speak to me as if they know me and parrot the rhetoric of the op. All these new members appear as friends of a popular figure on this thread. If you are posting multiple user accounts, if you are using them to inflate your star and flag count, now might be a good time to make them go away. Just saying....

I know there are people who have problems that claim visitations from aliens. I know because I used to attend a few abductee meetings at a local library. Several attendees used to describe the feelings of schizophrenia to us all and explain why they felt the medication was blocking their contacts with the ETs. They were actually arguing for not taking medication. This went on as one man walked around the room talking to himself. Another wanted to show us the method the aliens used for sperm extraction using a styrofoam cup to aid him........ I left.

I left knowing that there were several people there who were overshadowed, that wanted to speak but were never given the opportunity. Speaking to them on the sidelines I felt that they were legit, not mentally impaired, just wanting to discuss their experiences with others. The verbose ones wouldn't give them a chance.

I think the statistics are over weighted with the intense ones, the ones that yell it to the roof tops that won't give the time or space for others to speak out. The real ones tend to run away and say "no way, not in this zoo".

Allowing ALL statements and points of view to be considered credible and immune to scrutiny and judgment, is just as illogical, impossible and tyrannical as censorship, close mindedness and opinion control.

There has to be a system of checks and balances in place in order to sustain any form of fairness or adherence to the truth, (or search for the truth).

Anybody that feels inclined to post their thoughts in an open forum must be prepared to defend those thoughts with more than just anger or fear. Not all perspectives are worthy of protection, and some are in desperate need of being torn down completely.

Exposure to a large number of observers from different backgrounds, viewpoints and goals is an excellent way to retain the checks and balances that are needed. There is no room for enabling and perpetuation of false data. Whether it comes from a source with a goal of disinformation, a person whom is simply mistaken, or a sick mind that does not know the information is false.

This is the position you advocate.

I guess Ill through my phone book and email address and let a few people know that your official stance is that because thy suffer a mental illness they are not 'allowed' online.

I'll start with the vets I know. You know the ones that fought for this dream we call America. They suffer PTSD and other various mental illnesses so according to high mighty and wise you they dont have the right to post here.

I have to tell my girlfriend and some of her friends who have been raped. Seems some of the psychologist are treating two of them still for the nightmares they have. They are not according to you allowed online. I guess its there fault you are saying.

On your behalf I guess I'll have to notify the 9-11 survivors that because they are mentally unfit due to trauma they cant get online or post here.

I make sure I email there respective police departments and firefighters that you request that because they are not mentally fit you do not want them on YOUR website. (Thats right its not yours) You are smart enough to know that some are still in counseling. Of course because you are the arbiter of sanity.

Who else on your behalf needs to notified you dont want them talking about UFO's with you.

Otherwise you have eliminated a lot of people from accessing this site by your opinion and a lot from the internet.

I think the mentally troubled take care of themselves after a while. Just a few months ago som guy got b& for sending me crazy rants over U2U. The last one he sent was a death threat to me and he was insinuating that he would hurt people close to him.

I find myself in agreement with the spirit of the posts of both your good self and NightVision.

As per my many posts to this effect…..

I want to assure you this thread was initiated with good intentions……it came about due to genuine concern about 1 or 2 specific members.

As anticipated, this is an extremely sensitive subject that is extremely difficult to discuss.

My position is this…..

On the one hand, if members are "rude & abusive" to such people (as has occurred on many occasions), it is possible such communications could have a significant negative impact on such people.

On the other hand, if members offer "support & reinforcement" to such people (as has also occurred on many occasions), it could reinforce delusions & psychotic episodes, thereby also having a potential significant negative impact on such people.

I don’t profess to have an answer as to how to handle these situations.

However, that doesn’t stop me being very concerned about it.

I'm sorry ripcontrol, but based on the fact that you haven't read this thread in its entirety, I must disqualify your entire post, including all links. The OP was in reference to a specific member who's symptoms are consistent with schizophrenia, and who was abusing this and other threads. If you are going to do a drive by, do it right.

It matters not if a person is a Vet, has nightmares, depression or any other disorder, if they are violating the T&C's, they are out. And if you support this behavior, you should be out as well.

The 'Mentally challenged' posting on Alien ATS forums I created this thread to pose a discussion on some recent threads here that seem to have no basis in reality. From time to time a thread will pop up in the Aliens forum by individual(s) who swear they see aliens but post nothing but blurry non-descript pictures. This is not to suggest that anyone is being deceitful. For many of these threads, the poster just seems to be seeing what he/she wants to, and after the ATS machine scrutinizes the data, the OP slowly comes back to reality. However... Every now and then you will find a poster who refuses to face reality: *SNIP* I have witnessed this 'phenomena' on more threads than I care to count (mostly on Mars and Aliens threads). Refusal to respond to pertinent questions, posting vague, blurry photos, ignoring data, acting paranoid, non-sensical sentence structure/subject matter, etc...The behavior presented by such individuals is consistent w. Schizophrenia and schizo-affective disorders. Growing up, one of my best friends developed the disease and often, these posts mirror the delusional nature of his disease. As a disclaimer, I do believe we are being visited by ET life. But how do we draw a line here? Is putting these threads in the Hoax forum enough? I feel these people are mentally sick and need help. It bounces between two themes. First weigh ins on the mental health and then to UFO related material.

U earn an F in your attempt to revamp from your own narcissism.

All you have to do to prove your point, is post your name. Then the copy of a certified psych doc saying along all five axis that you are a normal functioning member of society.

I find myself in agreement with your statement in response. The way he responds seems to fit into that category to me.

As for your concerns it is one of the best outlines of the issue that has been lacking I starred it for that...

The only answer I can think of that would be good and yet at the same time respect individuality is this.

Is if there is an individual that behaves in such a way have someone here who specialty is dealing with such issues.

I do not like my next statement but I have found it true nine times out of ten.

If they do not want help then nothing can be done. Flag the T and C violations and proceed as normal. People can be communicated with hopefully so actions can be measured.

Their was one poster here who would fit into this. I haven't heard anything from his poster since it. It was the guy running in Oregon.

That is the only thought on it I have. Yall have any better Ideas?

I created the thread. I know what it is about. It is not about what you think it is. If you think i am whining, I can refer you to a number of professionals who can help you with your comprehension problem.
