With this one statement:

"the first thing I thought of was all these folks on here who get SUPER WORRIED and paranoid, will love to hear this."

You lost all credibility and just seem to be trolling for a reaction.

I brought it up because I had a bad experience with revealing a personal conversation on another website a few years back. I got quite a rebuke for blabbing details without first checking with the person in question to see if it was okay with them to place his words on an internet forum. He was justified in doing so. I was totally wrong for not considering him before I posted my piece. I've been very diligent in acquiring consent before I post since then. Hope both he and the beureau are okay with your thread.

A quick, besides the topic, anecdote:
I frequented a different chat board many years ago. It was not devoted to conspiracies, etc., just a place for people to talk and argue about this and that. I posted under a different nickname and my posts, by and large, were of a humorous and silly nature. Long story short, thru various internet contacts I came into corresponadance with a couple of Park Rangers who worked in Colorado. During one of our chats they actually brought up the site I mentioned earlier and then went on to say how much they enjoyed the posts by my nickname! We all had a good laugh when I revealed that I was the author of those twisted threads. Turns out that the internet is a small place afterall!

Hey memory..the WE is for ATS..lol..unless i misunderstood your point...which is definitly possible...

I know what the "we" referred to...

By using an implicit assertion that we as ATS would know if a "phone call" was received would let those who would have decided a "phone call" to be necessary know that you would have intention to communicate it to us...therefore implicitly proving or encouraging some of the paranoia on this site.

Point being, if they have an issue with this thread (I seriously doubt they do) then having a pre-disposed sentiment (your post of "we will know" as expressed previously) to communicate that there was indeed an issue would call more attention to their opinions (by way of indirect communicative extrapolation) then desired.

Yeah,I guess it could fall under the "small world" category.

Just like to consider all the angles. (That's what we're here for!)

That is actually pretty cool. I have yet to meet anyone who has heard of this site. I think that has something to do with the region in which I live, the people living in this region, and that now that I am getting old I do not get out much.

I do have to admit if I had been in your shoes a part of me might have questioned if he did not know who I was on the site. But that is the paranoid side of me that would have had that thought. Trust is not something that comes easy to me most of the time.

Another part of me though would have been saying “finally, someone I can talk about this site in person with”. Of course that would have led to making fun of some of the ideas and threads on here and some very cool information that is also discussed on here.

I had no doubt that they come here to read things. The internet is easy pickings for getting information on people. Some places are harder than others to get information from but you can easily put two and two together given enough time. On here I have some anonymity compared to the places like MySpace, Face Book, or Twitter. Not that I have anything to hide, I just like my privacy to a point. I am not going to just hand them all my thoughts and information.

Thanks for telling us this though, certainly interesting. I cannot wait to see some of the responses to this thread.

Law enforcement or not it must have been cool to meet someone who visits ATS. I've never met anyone who visits this site or any others I frequent for that matter, well except for the few people I know with similar interests but they don't really count as I've known them forever. Please let us know if you get that ass-chewing as I'm sure you'll agree it would be pretty funny.

No my friend...trust me, I am NOT the only one on here who thinks of "those members" when you think of ATS. And trolling for what...points and stars...oh good god...

I get PLENTY of reactions on the threads I participate in thanks...trust me.

off course people here are not directly investigated, at least the average people

but you need to understand that the data mining is the most important thing, since you can obtain important statistics that any corporation would want to know, not only in the gov business, but entertainment too...

another thing: there are some people here that I am almost sure are employed by some gov or totality mentally challenged

Could be they are just recreational visits , as opposed to any kind of established data accumulation exercise or protocol . I bet a lot of them visit porn sites too , don't mean they have any fbi business in hand . Maybe they fancy themselves as potential fox mulders .

So what you are saying is, you pulled over AGENT MULDER!!!???

How friggin' cool is that? Of course Mulder combs the pages of ATS, duh!

10 bucks says that agent has a "I WANT TO BELIEVE" poster in his FBI cubicle.

Agent Scully must have been doing an autopsy, explaining why she wasn't on the stake out with Mulder.

Be careful though - the lowly cop in uniform usually is the first to die in the episode!!!!!!

That in turn will get others who MAY know more to state their claim, and so on, which COULD break open and give the absolute truth. It could be that whistleblower thing that just makes the walls come crashing down. OR, it could be something stupid, commented on by really weird individuals, and other then for entertainment, no one cares.

That's why I keep coming back! You just need to try to filter out a lot of the non-sense. There is a lot of it, but sometimes there is some amazing information/threads that get posted here.

Back on topic, I've always wondered if the FBI or any other sort of federal/government agencies have ever frequented this site.

Why wouldn't they? Anyone with a computer and an internet connection can visit this site.

However, I have not thought about it too much (before now). I guess you have now confirmed my suspicions!

I am now officially paranoid, thanks.

Time to put on the tin foil hat.

Well how do you think I found this site.....I didn't google it. I was told by a fellow officer who knew I liked to dabble in the idea of conspiracy. He then said go here....

I did, now I can't freakin leave...lol

Memory...I read that and felt like I was at Harvard...
...either that or working 13 hours today has me a bit spent...I think what I gathered was...yes you meant we as in all of us on ATS like i did, that the FBI isn't going to care about this thread, like I believe, and if they did, they won't call anyway because that WOULD draw attention to themselves....ok got it...haha

Soooo....if someone mentions ATS to you, can he get out of a ticket? Did you let the FBI guy "go" just because he's part of the alphabet? Are the rules bent for them?

Oh, and next time, ask "who is your favorite poster?" Maybe you could do some random polls for us on the side.

Also, I am interested in the scum bag he was going to see. Now that you have "Bureau's" phone number, maybe you can get the scoop for us on some more of the villans?

Oh it gets better.

We ended up committing this guy.
On his discharge he ended up moving into a Residentual Supported Accomodation place.

On helping him move his stuff from his flat into this new place he had piles - and I mean PILES like a metre or so high - of files/folders he had created over the years.

His core belief was that high-powered influential members of society - such as Royals, famous 'Business people', Presidents, Prime Ministers etc etc - we either Reptilians or had been replaced by Reptilians.

He had created numerous detailed dossiers on many such individuals - with newspaper and magazine articles, photos he'd gathered, details of their movements etc etc.

He had also gathered numerous photos of real Reptiles (not Aliena, as in real animal Reptiles) and had compared how Reptiles/Lizards etc move, how they sit on rocks, the way they tilt their heads, how they gaze, how their mouth moves etc and alongside these Reptile pictures were pictures of these Royals, Presidents etc...with the same look, the same way of tilting the head, the same mouth movement etc.

Was incredibly detailed to be honest...essentially lots of pictures of the Queen for instance, and right next to each one on the page were corresponding pictures of Reptiles/Lizards exhibiting similar mannerisms.

Must have taken the guy years to amass such 'evidence'.

Not surprisingly he was considered extremely paranoid/delusional/psychotic/obsessed etc...

...yet in the back of my mind I was thinking "Damn! This guy needs to sign up to ATS and post up all these pics and info he's gathered/researched over the years! Would make one HELL of a killer thread!!!!"

...I mean...heck...who's to say he wasn't on to something...would have been a very interesting read at least...

It was a traffic stop on a suspicious vehicle. Not for violating a law. So no he didn't get a ticket...and giving an FBI agent a ticket is like pissing in the wind, its just gonna come back to you. Their bosses would make the county void it...thats just that.

Thanks for the thread man, and yes it is true that you will NOT be stalked by the federales for being a member of ATS.

I won't disclose me occupation, but ATS is occassionaly viewed by federal employess within the DOJ/DOD. But don't get all excited about it because those agents will visit all types of websites, mostly out of boredom. They are just like us, but with a badge. Believe it or not, there just arent files on 'conspiracy's and UFOs' floating around an office or detachment. If they want to find some info on a fringe subject like that, they will end up here, the same reason you are.

Is it just me or is this totally hilarious? You investigated FBI on suspicious vehicle?

That's just poor skillz, right there...

That's very cool. I thought at first you were going to mention the military choppers flying over Athens, GA today. I checked out local websites to see if there was a manhunt or something. They were up there flying around when there was a manhunt here a few months ago.

Do you know anything about this, rcwj1975?
There were two. I saw one circle downtown Athens, and then it flew directly over me, but nothing in the news.

Nope...Athens Clark County is a busy county PD so I can see them asking for help from the Army Birds. Last time I was in Athens was for some training at the Athans POST Facility and that was in 2008....but no nothing exciting for me, just a car that turned out to be an agent of the famous FBI...
