So we all know about the SCOTUS overturning Mccain-Feingold and basically stating that corporations are people now. I believe most sane people
believe this is a bad idea but lets try to turn this around.
Involuntary manslaughter is the unlawful killing of a human being without malice aforethought.
I propose we get on the horn and start bringing up involuntary manslaughter charges on corporations instead of the usual. Right now in America if you
are killed due to a pharmaceutical drug that has been mass marketed to help you, your family has the right to try and sue the big company. These
lawsuits are often advertised on TV with minimal benefit to the people that are hurt by these companies. Instead of the usual "they kill us, they
pay fine." Why don't we the people start pushing for criminal charges like the ones stated above? This is not just big pharma either. Everything
from lead poisoning from wal-mart doing business with China to the recent Toyota "Moving Forward even if you don't want to."
In summary it is my belief that if corporations want to be people then we should let the people running the corporations be treated as such. The
things that happen because of negligence on their behalf would land you in jail but they have an infinite supply of get out of jail cards as of right
now. We the people can push for this if we want to.
