Another school shooting here in Colorado

Why does it always happen in Colorado, this one even happened off of COLUMBINE AVENUE, a memorially named street.

LITTLETON, Colo. (AP) — Colorado authorities say they have arrested a suspect in a school shooting that left two teenagers injured. West Metro Fire officials say the shooting happened at about 3:30 p.m. Tuesday at Deer Creek Middle School in suburban Littleton, Colo., about 20 minutes south of Denver. Officials say the two victims are expected to survive. It's unclear whether the suspect or the victims were students. It's also unknown if the shooting happened inside or outside the school. The school is on lockdown and is expected to be evacuated to a nearby school at some point.

What I'm hearing is that the suspect was an adult male and the victims were students and not adults.

Seriously, of all the places to shoot up, why a school?

Because nobody in there will be able to fight back. What are a bunch of unarmed teachers and children going to do? Cry and beg?

Obviously this guy wasnt in the "rampage" class of offender. Sounds like he had his targets in mind and it was more a case of first degree murder two counts. But if he wanted to just spend an hour or so walking around killing at will where better to go? Maybe a retirement home? Preferably one that doesnt permit guns in the building.
