In my state and, many others in America, gangs are illegal.
Social clubs, discussion groups, guilds, cults and home-made religions are allowed.
Gangs are an offense that can/will lead to criminal investigation and/or jail time.
With that said...I never belonged to a gang.
But what I belong to has been accused of being such a thing many times.
Where did it start?
Right here with three people choosing to create a pact between honored brothers.
What is its origins?
The desire to create a filtering system to weed out the dishonest,drug-addicted and violent from our personal circles of friendship and to create a
living network of like-minded folks.
It is now going on 11 years, and has been one hell of an experiment.
500+ members, 5 countries and enough silliness to fill your "fun bag" more then a few times.
Gangs are illegal.
Cults are not.
It is funny how a single word can turn a crime into an acceptable thing in the eyes of our law.
