The US Government knowingly poisoned alcohol to kill drinkers during the prohibition.

It is estimated they could have killed up to 10,000 people.

I have never heard of this before, but it is disturbing and proves you are nothing but a number to these people. It proves just how evil these people can be.

I had never heard this before.

Those old stories my gramps use to tell about making moonshine runs (as a kid) makes so much more sense now...

Safety First.

Really suspiciously....

Ok, my new rule in voting... vote for whoever DOESN'T want to kill you!

When my grandfather, who lived well into his 90's died, we found a prescription in his papers dating from the prohibition era. A Dr. had actually written a prescription for alcohol, giving my grandfather a legal way to drink at the time.

He lived for so long, that he must have been getting the good stuff from the local drug store.

Thanks for sharing this interesting article. It doesn't surprise me one bit.

Nothing like the added taste of plastic to Fire Safe Cigarettes (FSC) now, is there? Strangely enough, you miss that taste when you do a Roll Your Own (RYO).

That's exactly what crossed my mind when reading the OP.

It seems like ever since FSC became mandatory they have become more and more "Fire Safe" every year.

It's gotten to the point where I don't enjoy smoking anymore because not only does it taste terrible but it actually hurts my lungs. That never happened with non FSC.

Not to mention you have to huff them down within a minute just to keep the darn things lit.

The government is in the business of violence. Violence is the very essence of government. Violence gives government its ill-gotten legitimacy, and a systematic monopoly of the initiation of violence is the very definition of government.

Government is the method seemingly 'good' people use to commit murder, theft, and all amounts of evil in the name of a bloated sense of selfish pride.

Patriotism is the opposite of love, kindness, and goodness. It is a method for control and violence against mankind.

Patriotism will lead 'good' people to poison substances just because the government says its the right thing to do.

Great find. I immediately thought of paraquat and fsc's. Funny how in the name of MORALITY people get poisoned. So much for "good intentions".

In the article it said the government can not be held responsible for poisoning you.

I just think it's absurd they don't have too answer for their crimes, they think they can take a god like role in our lives.

Maybe drinking actually killed drinkers.
Just like smoking kills smokers.
Just like fast food can kill committed customers in a matter of time.

Just a thought...

You should....it's filled with 3,000 chemicals....

If , with every puff, you said " 3,000 chemicals is going to be in me" I doubt anybody would smoke......well some still would...

Here's a quote from the article.

"They ordered the poisoning of industrial alcohols manufactured in the United States, products regularly stolen by bootleggers and resold as drinkable spirits."

So the people that were stealing the industrial alcohol were actually the ones that were responsible. I've known since I was a kid that you can't drink the industrial alcohol. I thought this was common knowledge.

Did the government put out a warning?

Don't drink. Problem solved.

I'm sure it was FDA approved poison.

Remeber, if the government is poisoning you, either covertly and indirectly or overtly and directly, it's for your own good. Government is love.

That gun to your head and hand in your wallet is love too.

Gotta pay for the poison somehow.

There isn't a problem anymore, and there shouldn't have been a problem in the first place.

Just because authority tells you not to drink, your going to just cave in even if you like to drink?

i think each party has a huge investment in one type of addictive substance and they take turns trying to villify each other and ruin each other's business.
the repubs are the tobacco companies.
the dems are the alcohol companies.

the more heavily slanted the material is against one than the other, the more indicative it is of who is in control of the media machine.

Alcohol lowers the quantum vibrations of the conscious mind. Alcohol also ties spirits to the earth plane, as people develop an obsession over drinking, and do not want to cross over.

I don't understand why they'd kill drinkers; the government is better off having people out getting drunk. They get more money from DUI's, and have the right to tax an addictive substance. That prohibition era was strange.

bwahahahaha. um...you do realize that the cigarette is pure poison unadulterated without any government input?

To the OP: poisoned alcohol? I think I'd need to see a citation and some legit documentation to hold that one up.

However, it is well known that Nixon order Mexican cannabis plantations to be sprayed with paraquat by CIA planes and by deals with the Mexican government in the war on drugs back in that iteration of it. Unfortunately this forced the narcos to chop the plants and to sell what they could.

some people were made ill by this. But paraquat is still one of the most widely used herbicides today.

anyway, documentation please or it is just a rumour like any other found in tinfoil hat sites like this one.

So, is murdering wrong too... or is it just the drinking? Because if its just drinking then the problem isn't solved. Don't poison people and drink responsibly... problem solved.

Me too.

What about hemp (weed)? Do any of you think something similar could be at hand?
