@ Mod's the search left me ( again ) with nothing. Please, let me know if a thread already is in existence ? So we can move it to it.
I just read this article about a new in use technology, to read D.N.A. faster.
They are able to find out which gene is causing the problems within 6 weeks.
I'm told this is really fast.
This Medical University is located in the Netherlands. ( Nijmegen ). The link is in Dutch I didn't find one in English. Yet !
If anyone does before me. Please ad it ?
I could let it get translated but these are usually not very accurate.
The technique is called
high-throughput DNA sequencing.
This is the
Link from UMC st Radbout where they recently started working with this new technique.
This is of course a pretty important breakthrough ! I can also see it getting used in other D.N.A. testing professions. The amount of time what is
gained.
