Study shows how viruses changed human evolution

I just read about a study on viruses and how they changed our evolution.

I think it is quite interesting. I knew about little buggers were responsible for 8 %
of the human genome. Well... I believe it to be true.

They want to use the genes that show contamination ( which proofs a virus has contributed on that specific gene. ) To count or observe the amount of influence they have or got. and this will improves some ones lesser change to cons tract a virus.
If I understand correctly tho.

that would go a long way to explaining what we're apparently seeing with how flu can be deadly for some and some, like me, never get a flu shot and never have a problem with the flu.
