For those who say "What if someone had died?"

Ask yourself how many people suffer or die each year because of the greed of these corrupt institutions?

This is class warfare.

The problem is that now it has been proven that even a small plane can destroy a building like that (didn't someone account that this building was a super security fortress instilling fear into visitors?).

So the whole superstructure of security mania can go down by an act of a single man.

I'm pretty sure there will be unimaginable repercussions from the side of the "system" versus people, after this event.

If he actually wasn't a coward and a reckless murderer as was his intention. then perhaps his rant may mean something deeper.

However, it would appear that, he was a self absorbed narcissistic twit.
If he had a decent way of behaving instead of a way of going on about his sore feelings over his failures in life which he has the gaul to blame others for when it was he who captained that ship of stupidity.

What did he expect power to be?

He's an idiot. He's created a problem. He will be regarded as the idiot he is in the long run.

It doesn't matter if he's right or wrong. He didn't have the guts to stand up for what he thought was right. He only could do that which was so obviously wrong.

Well, rip I guess.

As an aside to all of this - a txt from a girl friend of mine:

"My friend from kindergarten wall post LOL and I thought of you: "If you're going to Google for a photo of Joe Stack, they guy who crashed his plane into the Austin IRS building, be warned that "Joe Stack" is also the name of a prominent gay porn star... I just found that out. Retinas: burned."

I do not condone what this guy did, but I know many people who feel the same way and who are frustrated with the status quo. In his manifesto, he tried to communicate his frustrations by writing to reps, senators and anyone who would listen to him. That avenue didn't work. Which doesn't surprise me. There is a growing number of people that are fed up with giving up half of their hard-earned paychecks over to the fed. Some would argue that we need taxes to maintain roads, for ambulance service, etc. etc. But some of that money goes to feeding lazy people who live off welfare, pays for high quality health insurance for congressmen, and to pay for police officers (pirates) who pull us over every day to issue us tickets for petty offenses in order to collect more taxes (fines).
I agree with some here that maybe this guy has set a dangerous precedent. This may trigger Big Brother to get even more intrusive, and so the slippery slope gets even more slippy. Once the wars are over, we will see an influx of trained soldiers who will feed the growing numbers of city level gestapo police officers who will be watching over us.

I only hope we can change things in America for the better...

Could this be the same guy?

"Stack was fired by the Division of Taxation in March because of the investigation, officials said.

Stack's lawyer, Edward Bertucio, said he will plead innocent to the charges. "

If not, WHOA. Big Big Giant coincidence.

So maybe that was an early smear deal?

"I'm mad as hell and I'm not going to take it anymore"! This is what comes to mind after reading his manifesto. He points out the obvious and something I think we all know and understand. The problem is you don't go killing people for money because in the end this is still all about money. I would rather be a homeless bum then resort to taking another persons life. Money has people doing some evil deeds today. When he mentions the Justice Department on the take, I felt that same thing. The only way you could possible see the kinds of corruption we are seeing on Wall Street is if the FBI and others are on the take. The fox is in charge of the hen house and no ones doing a damn thing.

if you stop and think about it, this guy was kinda right - the IRS has killed people by taking their last dollar, he was getting screwed by them and he just wanted to give them what they were owed. or perhaps he was late to his appointment and there was no parking, i know austin traffic sucks.

they probably were gonna take his house - so he torched it. it probably wasn't worth much anyways. and i don't think his wife and stepdaughter were there according to the reports.

they probably were gonna take his plane - so he brought it to them.

or he didn't wanna wait in line at the IRS office.

like previously stated, if he wanted to kill a bunch of IRS people there was a main IRS office 15 miles south. he only killed himself and damaged IRS property, possibly other peoples stuff in the building.

this might be "the shot heard 'round the world".

I too read his manifesto and am left wondering what the hell he imagined flying his plane into this building would achieve?

If his intention was just to destroy the organisation within, that could have been achieved by flying his plane into the building at night when it was empty.. but instead he decided to do this during the day when the building was occupied.

He consciously decided to take peoples lives to achieve what exactly??

I hope nobody has died or will die from this man's actions other than himself.

This man is no martyr.

Okay please excuse my arrogance but... Is anyone calling a false flag on this?

Okay I just found out about it and the first thing I thought of was the following:

1. Set up by government to put regulations on private/ general aviation.
2. Claimed terrorist attack since it destroyed a Federal building.
3. The guy leaves a suicide note depicting himself as a conservative who is tired of the government.

Now I JUST started finding out about this so don't shoot me!! But seriously if you want independents to go over to the democrat’s side why don't you have some conservatives create terrorist acts? In fact if you want more people to stay away from a certain way of thinking label that group a terrorist and make people afraid to be associated with them.

The problem the democrats have is that conservatives are from all parties and they are non-violent. When everyone was afraid of someone doing something like this after Obama was elected nothing happened. Conservatives did not use any form of violence but instead fought their battles on facts, truth and intelligence.

Now I feel this was set up and we will discover more in the days to come that this guy probably listened to Glenn Beck or Rush Limbaugh and that those people should be denied free speech and taken off the radio.

Everyone wanted a false flag - I believe we just got it.

From "V for Vendetta":

Finch: Why are you doing this?
Evey Hammond: Because he was right.
Finch: About what?
Evey Hammond:
That the world needs more than just a building right now. It needs hope.

I don't know about you guys, but when I read Joseph A. Stack's (plane guy) manifesto and realized very few people were killed (1 maybe), I immediately thought of this quote from V.

Like I've always said:
Violence, in all it's forms, is just the ultimate form of one-way human communication.

It communicates pain, anger, suffering, frustration, stupidity, ignorance, power.

Violence doesn't solve, but it sure as hell gets people's attention. Just look at the news and ATS right now. 24 hours ago no one here knew about this guy's summary conclusion of what he learned about life in this nation. But now people are talking about it.

This guy was once a normal guy - business man, entrepreneur, family man, musician. After his life got put through the meat grinder we call the IRS tax code, and he spent countless months and years of his life trying to DO THE RIGHT THING, but getting no where............ like Col. Kurtz in Apocalypse Now after witnessing the "genius" of violence in war, Joseph A. Stack had an epiphany about violence.

He realized he just wanted to give the world one final message, and once the idea came into his head that the world would maybe finally listen to his story if he blew up a building, that made more sense to him than the insanity of playing by the rules.

If you read his manifesto, you can also see he kind of hopes it will start of a chain reaction of awareness of the lawlessness demonstrated by the power elite in this nation.

He was a smart guy pushed passed the limit of civility. You may call it insanity, he would call it clarity. There are many more out there just like him.

I am absolutely amazed at some of the replies in this thread.

This guy was a true patriot who knows the only god-damned way to make the standard of life of the general innocent (and daft) population a better place IS BY IGNITING A PARADIGM SHIFT.

Now, whether or not his action will spark something out of the masses, is debatable, but I find it hilarious that we have kitty-cats on here purring "But what if someone got hurrrt
".

Damn right people will get hurt when the sh#t hits the fan. The sooner the masses realise the only way you will get somewhere is by FORCE.

Makes you wonder why we don't have mass rallies with the overwhelming evidence of us getting screwed over in our face. It's because the people who are supposedly "awake" aren't even committed to the only route they have out of this sh#thole.

Props to Joe Stack

The guy was an "engineer" that didn't know he had to pay taxes for early withdrawl of an IRA????

That put him over the edge???

This was no manifesto...now Ted Kacinzinski had a manifesto!

Remember the maxim: “One nation’s heroes are another’s terrorists”.
So it was at the birth of our own nation when rebellious upstarts dared to contend with an abusive empire. A beautiful experiment. I could be time, again, to refresh Liberty with our own blood and overturn the hand of those that would call themselves rulers of men.

"By the rude bridge that arched the flood,
Their flag to April's breeze unfurled;
Here once the embattled farmers stood,
And fired the shot heard 'round the world."

No more talking. No more subjugation. Goodbye, Joe Stack. Rest in Peace.

When a person is humiliated, when his rights are being violated, and he does not have the proper education, naturally he gravitates toward terrorism.
Shirin Ebadi

Today, we talk a lot about terrorism, but we rarely talk about state terrorism.
Bianca Jagger

A terrorist is someone who has a bomb, but doesn't have an air force.
William Blum

Our government... teaches the whole people by its example. If the government becomes the lawbreaker, it breeds contempt for law; it invites every man to become a law unto himself; it invites anarchy.
Louis D. Brandeis

Undermine their pompous authority, reject their moral standards, make anarchy and disorder your trademarks. Cause as much chaos and disruption as possible but don't let them take you ALIVE.
Sid Vicious

We have two American flags always: one for the rich and one for the poor. When the rich fly it means that things are under control; when the poor fly it means danger, revolution, anarchy.

Yea, I think the former members of the SS tried to use the "I was just doing my job" excuse too.

Didnt really work out too well for them. Nor should it for agents of the United States Government.

How pathetic. Comparing the murderers and massacre participants of the past to mere citizens collecting and tracking taxes, which by way has been lowered over the last 30 years. Its just pathetic, this bitterness and anger from folks like you, who strive for violence at the expense of lives all for your own ideological views.

Pathetic

Maybe you should be sent to a place like Somalia. I'd bet my bottom dollar you would not last a minute.

If he was a true patiot he would not be taking the lives of the innocent. Somebodies brother, sister, mother, father, son or daughter was working in that building. Many probably didnt even agree with the current status of the government. I know an IRS worker who does not like the way the government in doing things, but in these economic times its their job. I'd bet my dollar if the disgruntled folks rallying this guy around like yourself got your way, took out income taxes and replaced in with a fair tax system what not, you'd have another bunch of workers in their place accounting for that system of tax.

Pathetic

I bet you dont have the guts to go in public and cheer this guy for what he did. Just sit behind your computer and cheer on violence.

You know for all the crys from fringers over a supposed government military crackdown, massacre, the only people I have seen thus far commit violence at the expense of lifes are individuals like this guy, and people like you cheering him on.
