Looking for people who have been to the grey room

No one else was in the room.

I am not sure what the "grey room" is, either. It was definitely a place. It was a massive room, nothing like I had ever seen before.

I opened my front door, took one step onto my porch, was surrounded in grey nothingness for a brief second, and then took another step and was suddenly in the grey room.

For years my friend and I called it the grey room because we had no idea what else to call it. It was definitely a room/space and was inside, but inside what and where I have no idea.

I was not surprised to see other people there, too. There were men and women, various ages and races. I did not see any children. We had all been called together. I think they arrived around the same time I did.

We were all talking together in groups of two and three. I heard snippets of conversation from other groups near me. Some people had been prepared, while others had had little notice before they came to the grey room. They, like me, were not afraid. We were all excited, happy.

I think you are right. It sounds like they are different places.

I'm not different. There are others like me. My main reason for posting this thread was to find them.

I've been to a chamber that was uniformly illuminated by no apparent means. When I first arrived therein, I thought the chamber was gray; however, as my eyes adjusted, I realized that the floor, ceiling and walls were all composed of a very dull greenish material.

No doors, no windows, no portals of any kind.

There were no other people nor anything else in the chamber with me, but I felt a presence nearby, behind me. Every time I tried to turn and see the presence, it wasn't there — but it was still behind me.

I kept feeling this insistent urge to approach the wall. I fought the urge, and I remained stationary. Just as the urge became irresistible, something picked me up and hurled me toward the far end of the chamber.

Instead of impacting the wall, I passed though it, like smoke.

On the other side was blackness, a very disagreeable blackness. I remained there for I don't know how long — I had no sense of the passage of time. I just knew that I wanted to be elsewhere...

Whereupon, I was instantly surrounded by the most incredible, three-dimensional starscape I've ever even imagined. I've never seen anything in any movie that even came near this incredible starscape, It surrounded me entirely.

What happened thereafter was the most incredible journey I've ever experienced. In retrospect, I can only say that it was a journey that must have far, far exceeded the speed of light. You don't see whole starsystems go flashing past without traveling at thousands of times light speed.

I say "in retrospect" because I wasn't asking any questions at the time this was happening. I was totally awestruck and completely dumbfounded.

The only thing I can add to that is that this entire vision took place as part of a near death experience. It happened when I was in intensive care with a broken neck back in 1980.

The space sounds similar. You use the word "chamber" while we chose the word "room." To me the walls were brightly lit, but somehow fuzzy. We also did not see doors, windows, portals of any kind. Like you, my friend felt a presence behind her that she could not see when she turned around. The room was massive.

How big was this chamber you were in?

This was not a near death experience for us. We were healthy. Normal. Awake. It was the middle of the afternoon. We were in my home. We knew someone/something had arrived and was waiting for us on the porch. I walked freely to the door. My friend walked ahead of me.

Smoke is a good term. When I stepped onto the porch, I felt like I had passed through and was surrounded by grey nothingness. I had a sense that I was somehow moving, but could not see or hear anything. It was all grey around me. I do not know if a lot of time passed. It seemed like no time passed. I took one step into grey, then took another step and entered the grey room. That is where I saw all of the other people.

I could not see my friend but I was not worried. Somehow I knew she was also somewhere in the room.

I did not think of it as being underground. There was so much light. My instincts tell me it was not underground. If anything, we went up.

Could this be MKUltra? Is it possible that you have been tested on?

one question, were u using clothes at the moment, and were these clothes with u before this 'thing" happened ?

its impossible to know what happened, if you say that you are sure that other people that you know experience it, well, thats kind of hard to believe if you stop to think

how the odds of a person that u know to be at the same "place" at the same time ... weird

but it really it could be anything, spaceship, another virtual place, some gov project ... who knows ... good luck

Well, this is a question that I still ask myself. See, the "journey" that followed caused me to wonder what size I really was. I mean, as I moved through the "starscape" that I described, I was aware that I could reach out with my hand and... well... touch a star as I passed it. I mean, I could not see my hand, but I knew that I was reaching out and sort of cupping it around a star.

Which would indicate that I was a TREMENDOUS size. It made no sense.

If I was truly of these gigantic proportions, then the "chamber" I was in must have been the size of an entire solar system.

However, if I could trust my physical dimensions as being human, relative to the chamber, then I would liken it to a very large auditorium.

No, I have never heard of it. I was born after 1971. I'll have to see if I can find a way to rent it. The description does not sound similar, but I would be interested in seeing the grey space described.

My experience happened in 1994. I am hoping to find others who were there with me during that time. I have questions, many questions.

To my knowledge I have not been tested on in the way you are suggesting. My friend and I were both told by separate doctors that our first babies were not our first. My doctor actually thought I was lying to her. As a result, she assumed I knew what was going to happen and treated me in a different way.

My friend said the same thing happened to her. My friend was also told by an Ear/Nose/Throat specialist that she had had multiple surgeries. My friend has never had any surgeries in that area of her body.

I really don't know. That is why I am looking for others.

There was an entire room/space filled with people. Hundreds of people. This happened to my friend and me in 1994. I decided to break my silence and start looking for other people who have been in that room. I think they have answers to some of my questions.

Everyone carried something but I won't tell you what it is.

May I ask why? You are seemingly reaching out to amass people who have had the same experience. One would think that every discernible fact of the experience would be made prevalent.

Why keep what everyone was carrying a secret? Perhaps each person's experience differed from the next and this one clue would be what sparked the memory of that persons experience.

Just a notion, but I think you should reveal everything about the experience and not withhold what I feel is a proportionate part of the ordeal.

What makes you think that your being calm will have any influence whatsoever on the people in your area? People will be frantic and panicked, not knowing what to do, and you think they will look to you for some sort of support?

In the panicked situations I've faced in my lifetime, someone who is calm IS an influence. Just by being calm, they help calm others.

Of course, it also depends on the type of situation.

OP....I've never heard of a gray room. This intrigues me, and I hope you find more information.

I don't know if its the same thing - but I used to go to a "grey place" when I was a child 5/6.

I can only describe it as what a mother's womb might feel like. It was like a very very dense (almost hugging) grey fog with swirling "smoke". It felt like unconditional - all encompassing love. Way beyond anything anyone could feel in this world. It was safe. I remember I could hear millions of voices talking - like I was plugged into a switchboard.

Unfortunately or fortunately - depending on what perspective you take - on my last visit - a very tall man in a long white robe grounded me from "flying". He said it was confusing me living in two worlds - - that I was trying to return - - but needed to stay in the Earth world. (I never saw or met another being before or after).

Even though I do not know what exactly is going on - - I have always known there is more then meets the eye.

Yes. I was fully clothed. It was in the afternoon in the middle of summer. I was completely clothed the entire time. My friend also had clothes on the entire time.

The people in the grey room were all clothed as well. They were standing around in small groups talking to each other. The only one who did not have as much on was the man with a white towel wrapped around his waist, as I described earlier.

I know this all sounds weird.

I am extremely lucky because my friend was with me. I had someone, an eye witness, to talk to about all of this when we "came back" from the room. I am grateful she was there and saw the grey room, too. If it just happened to me, I might have been tempted to just dismiss the whole thing. However, it happened to both of us.

Like I said before, there were HUNDREDS of people in the grey room. People were talking in small groups. They acted just like a group of people who do not know each other act when they are in a large room together waiting for a big announcement. They chit chatted with each other, making small talk. They were excited.

I think most (if not all) of them came alone and did not know anyone else in the group. We were all gathered together for the same purpose.

I opened the thread because I am hoping to find others who were in the grey room. I am hoping they will read this and recognize the description of the room and the gathering of people.

I have so many questions. Perhaps someone learned something when he/she was in another corner of the room. Maybe we can piece enough information together that we'll be able to answer each other's questions.
