What is really sad is that our govt. has a history - a verified history - of performing consciousness altering experiments on people against their will, and often without any consent at all. Not just a few, but a lot of them.

That's a huge wrong. And because that happened, we should all legitimately ask - Could this be? Again.

When any entity - govt. or otherwise - has a history of doing something so evil, I think it is only natural - and wise - to consider it going forward.

I can't trust a government that would do such as this, and ours has. Furthermore, I've never seen anything very public as an apology or acknowledgment about it - as if keeping it shrouded from the general pubic is still part of their conspiracy....or lack of true remorse.

I could see this as a possibility, but I would be more interested how they would be able to focus and control the experience in the abductee. I think they would need to use other methods on top of the chemical itself, which I think would be even more interesting because it would raise the question of if they can control '___' experiences, does that mean they can control our dreams?

It reminded me of the ideas of a graphic novel I was going to make, imagine in the future, you are sleeping and all of a sudden you are forced to endure a "swiffer" commercial. Commercials in dreams, I'd take out those in charge or die trying! ha

One of the other ideas was using a controlled '___' experience to make a test subject retrieve information, artificially induced psychic channeling or something like that. Sort of like that "Project Looking Glass" but having one localized within someone's head.

Why?

I can't verify it but I was listening to a guy talk about "Ayahuasca" the tribal spiritual brew of amazonian natives and he mentioned 3 types of shamans, and one type used the experience to retrieve ideas for warfare.

Again, i'd be pretty interested if they devised away to control the experience, to keep the test subject FOCUSED on the same intent, the same visual / thought/ multi-sense / multi-dimensional information retrieval. And if it is a case of them being confused into thinking they are abducted.. what if they take on a certain lucidity and gain control?

I'd just be interested of the methods used to control the experience.

Although I don't quite believe in the OP's theory, for the sake of argument I must clarify -- '___' that has been isolated from it's original source (pure) does NOT need an monoamine oxidase inhibitor for it to be effective... that's only when orally ingesting the '___' containing source (such as ayahuasca).

Interesting theory, but i cant imagine it to be true. The substance you have contributed to abductions could not possibly be implemented in all abduction cases because a synthetic '___' trip is only about 5 minutes long. Abductees commonly "loose time" for hours or even days. Common hallucinations that accompany a '___' trip are complex geometric patterns.

I have read many post like this attributing psychedelic drugs as explanations for everything paranormal. I would recommend looking in to doing some research into the effects and duration of the substance before attributing it to a certain phenomenon. Where to look? erowid.com

I understand were you are coming from, and agree with you somewhat....

But what if TPTB have a means of extracting natural dmt, from plants and other mammals, or even human beings. How long would it last if it was given in a higher dosage...or repeated small doses...

I'm not completely clued up on this substance, so, would a second dose be effective if administered directly before the first dose starts wearing off?

i tend to disagree! this case is still unsolved! for example!

If the dose goes through the digestion with an MAOI then it lasts 5 hours. If it is smoked then it wears off right away.

According to the link to Redfern's Contactees excerpt -- the CIA first uses an air propellant drug and then once the abductee is put into the craft a shot is administered.

So you can give someone a shot of THC and cannabinoid. It's just like smoking but will last longer. So I think you could give someone a shot of '___' without needing the MAOI or even have them mixed together.

'___' is only one of very few.... VERY few substances which can cause delusions, hallucinations and visions of other-worldly nature.

One to look up - that is used more widely than one might imagine - is scolopamine and atrophine. these are the active chemicals in a plant of the nightshade family - Datura Innoxia. Highly dangerous but highly psychoactive. A trip usually lasts anywhere from 12 hours to several days - with side effects of temporary amnesia, delusions, being convinced of hallucinations, urination and defecation. A very dangerous drug that is often given to the public....

at the eye doctors?! yes indeed! this drug dilates the pupils at such an extent, and at such a fast speed (when applied directly to eye) that it is used by optometrists to get a clearer view of your pupil (i guess, i'm not doctor hehe)

but i've always wondered what happens afterwards? I mean, I can remember even getting atrophine drops on my eyes when I went to the optometrist yet i don't really remember if i tripped out (although amnesia associated with the drug could be a factor) that, and it has been oh so long since I've been back there!

IMO it's not the feds we need to worry so much about with the drugs

it's the drugs that we're all already taking that we ought to be worried about. Us, ordinary civilians, have almost no hope of knowing the true side effects of most of the drugs prescribed, given OTC or simply purchased... perhaps we may not know now, perhaps we may not know ever but it is a question worth pursuing/

Maybe he should have contributed a little more just to explain how he felt the threads differ even though they mention similarities. That would be very helpful resource to link both together. There is nothing rude about the link itself.

I've heard stories of this happening before with some hallucinogens. Like a kid in college is "tripping" and all of a sudden finds himself in a Mexican tribal ritual, while the Mexican tribal person found himself in a college dorm room for a moment. Interesting anectdotes.

I wouldnt say all abductions can be explained by your theory, TS, but theres no reason not to believe that "studies" have been done on innocent subjects involving mind altering drugs.
I for one do not believe that MK Ultra was ever abandoned, it just went underground like other sensitive operations.

No drug trip explains the implants and the alien/human hybrids. You're trying so hard to come across as all "logical" that you forgot about the reality of the situation. Alien beings have been abducting people and messing with them for thousands of years.
