I received these photos in an email, not exactly mythical but rare as an individual let alone twins.

Here is the information that was included in the email.

Behind the Gray Rock Cafe in Grayling, Michigan

Tim Gillette made the deer feeder with the 'Browning' logo..

These twin albinos have been coming into the back of Gray Rock Cafe
since they were fawns in 2006..

We have been trying to capture a digital pic of them for awhile,
but they arrive at dusk or even later and the pics don't turn out.

On Friday about 10 am they arrived. It was a beautiful morning and
they came for their photo op.

My God those are two of the most gorgeous animals I've ever seen. It was amazing to see two of them like that at the same time. To see this in real live would be breathtaking. Star for you, and I wish I could give you two (one for each deer) Thanks for the post!

Wow! Beautiful! I have had the pleasure of seeing an albino deer live, it was so majestic and mysterious looking...thanks for posting these!

They are very beautiful, although I hope someone doesn't find them so beautiful that they'd want them hanging on their wall.

That would be terrible and I hate to even think about it.

Awesome! I have never seen an albino deer. And today I get to see a photo of two! Way cool! Deer really are beautiful critters. I've been deer hunting in the way back time. I never did shoot any though. I was just there for the excitement of the hunt and to test myself and to see the beautiful creatures they are. They have such sweet eyes. Yes? Oh, and deer stands, Yuck! Lazy hunting in my opinion. Sort of like putting out salt licks where you know deer usually come to forage in the evening. Unless I was in fear of starving, I would never shoot an animal for food. But I do enjoy the hunt. Just, well, cuz. One time I was out "hunting". Yeah, a good excuse to get out and enjoy the wilds for me. And to practice being a stealthy hunter, in case I ever need to be one. I saw a big buck, I recollect he was a 12 pointer. And he still had the "felt" on his antlers. What a fine sight to see!

If I came upon the carcass of such an animal, well, I would surely harvest the hide. It would look way cool hanging on my wall, don't ya know?

Those deer are beutifull... The sad part is that albinos have a short life span because they are easy to see by their natural predetors... I live close to a town that is known for their albino squirells they are protected in that town... all the squirells are albino it is so cool

Perhaps they should be moved somewhere where there's always snow so they'll "blend" better!

In many states it's illegal to possess an albino deer carcass or shoot an albino deer. In some states this applies to all albino animals.

This place in NY has over 300 albino deer on its land!

There is another community in north central WI. I don't know how to link the video, but this is the website:
wpt2.org...
I agree they are utterly beautiful and totally unique.

They are extremely rare in this area. Heard very few rumors. Though there are rumors of pinto deer.

They are beautiful. What crazy looking deer feeder.
Its a chair, with a lord of the rings sculpter, and some corn.

I saw an albino alligator once, it was gorgeous. But in alligators, it gives them blue eyes. IT was pretty trippy.

Legend has it where I'm from,if you shoot an albino whitetail'you'll never shoot another deer in your life.

Like I said its just a legend, but I'd never try to shoot one.And I have seen a couple in the wild.

Cool picture OP!

I received the same e-mail from a friend of mine. Interesting to note one is a male and the other a female. And that is a Browning logo on the feeder.

I see your albino deer, and raise you albino elk!

hehe.

I'm a deer hunter, but to be honest, if I ever saw an albino I don't think I could bring myself to take it. See I hunt for meat (even though I try not to waste anything). That isn't a good enough reason (at least for me) to take such a rare animal. I would hope I am not the only one that feels this way.

On a Side note: I think things like this might be where the legend of the "white stag" came from.

Is that a bird in flight above and slightly to the left? There are what look like droppings below it, as if it just took flight and loosed a load.
