Now the car is in Houston? I thought it was in Greece.
OMG, dude, it is a phishing scam!!!
Listen, Greece just made it illegal to transact anything over 1500 EURO in cash. I'm pretty sure personal checks, bank checks and money orders are
all considered ''cash'' on demand to the bearer for banking purposes.
See this ATS
thread about Greece and cash.
The EURO is trading near $1.38 which would put your $1150 US price at 1587 EURO, over the limit. He is going to come back at you with some shady
website asking for your credit/debit card information and appearing to be a legitimate Ebay webpage. Why doesn't he just list it on Ebay? He is
phishing and using the idea of Ebay Buyer Protection for an off-Ebay transaction.
He has already asked you for your full name, your physical address, your email, then he'll get your credit card number and your 3 digit security
number off the back of the card.... don't do it.
Good lord! It is a 17 year old car and it only has 78K on it?!!! That is less than 4600 miles a year. Less than 89 miles per week?!!!! I'm crying
over here!!!!! Please, send me your money. I'll send you a Ferrari.
Skip it. Find somebody selling a cheap car in your local area. Deals come around every day. Don't fall for this ''I'm in Greece keeping the
peace'' and ''I'll fly it to you in a military cargo plane'' bullcrap.
