Russian Satellite Hits Mexico

newsolio.com

So far authorities have failed to reach any crash site for the apparent Russian satellite crash. However, the possibility for a meteorite was still possible.

In my opinion whatever crashed in Mexico is being covered up by the government. Was it a meteorit, or a Russian satellite? Who knows but it just seems to strange for me that something like this would happen and NO US news media are reporting on this topic. A week or so ago a small meteor crashed into a doctors office and all the news media report on that but somthing much larger like this and nothing is in the news??? It just doesn't make sense to me they must be covering something up in my opinion.

What goes up must come down... Or fly off into space, either way things have to go somewhere, there is a lot of stuff up there and, well some of it will come down.

why is it always a "Russian Satellite"?

This has to be the number three official story right behind swamp gas and Chinese lanterns.

I understand what goes up must come down what I don't understand is why no US news stations have reported on this. If it was a meteorite fine, if it was a Russian satellite ok, if it was human waste from the space station who cares, the point i'm trying to make is why no media coverage. The US media covers a baseball size meteorite that crashed into a doctors office roof but they won't say a word about something like this? It just seems that someone with control over the news is keeping this hidden from us.

maybe it was the Iranian satellite they sent up last week? haha. How remote is the area that they cant find any debris? I guess reentry would fry any circuits, so its not like they could look for an electromagnetic signature.

I'm not positive, but am rather sure, that all satellites have a "blackbox".

The article includes reports of a bridge collapsing and a 30-meter crater causing "tension among people."

It took a bridge out?

Well the first report said that it took out a bridge and broke out windows many miles away from the impact here is the link and now the story is changing to no damage and a Russian Satellite. Like I said something this big and NO US media coverage?? someone is hiding something.

Too bad there's not a chance in hell we'll ever get the opportunity to hear it.

What are we talking about again? I cant think with that Avatear..Ar.r…. Pretty pathetic….I’m easily distracted. Did the Russians plan on one of their satellites falling out of space?

Well according to my first link on top it says this.....

Back in 2006, Cosmos 2421 made news that it could eventually crash and burn into the Earth and posed a danger to humans. Cosmos 2421 had since broken apart into 15 pieces, with a large chunk of Cosmos 2421 likely the cause of the Mexico fireball.

Here is the link again.

newsolio.com...

But if they knew it could crash and if it was a Russian Satellite why hasn't the US news media been talking about it?? First it caused damage then no damage.

It's like the Russians are they scapegoats for everything that falls from the sky or happens up there. =P

That or they really have crappy equipment.

It seems that way. I would just like to find out what it was, but doubt there will be any resolution to this situation. If the US news media hasn't reported on it by now I doubt they will say anything at all which just makes me think even more that something is being hidden from us.

I don't know - but there was a lot of talk about factoring in the demise of satellites - you know, weather they can burn up on re-entry or should they put extra fuel or whatever on board so they can go away after they are useless.

It's a growing problem, one idea was a cable that dragged through the very highest part of the atmosphere causing the thing to de orbit... But then you also have to design the thing to completely burn up or you have to think about where it comes down.

Check out the orbit of Cosmos 2421... doesn't seem like it's in line with where it hit, though the decent may throw it off...

Here is another link that talks about this a little more and that there is huge lack of information. Why won't the US media report on this issue????

news.discovery.com...

here are a couple of snips from the article

Eyewitnesses report seeing a light and then a "roar" as the alleged meteorite hit, swaying nearby buildings. According to one translated source, a bridge had been damaged by the impact that occurred at 6:30 pm local time on Wednesday evening. Windows were also shattered as a result of the blast.

The Mexican army arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area according to another news source. The possibility of a downed aircraft has been ruled out by the authorities.
