PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW! Obviously, mccain is another globalist tool. the idea of restricting access is purely about control over your life, by controlling your health. the same rubrick that is behind health care 'reform'...

they are attempting to solidify control over every aspect of your life. and, i recall mccain meeting with lady rothschild before the election.....my, how very strange.

_____________________________________________________________

Senator John McCain has introduced a bill that if passed will drive up the cost of dietary supplements and restrict your access to them.

This bill seeks to give the FDA complete and arbitrary control over what supplements you are allowed to have. I am writing you about this and a far more important matter.

If you believe in the science of mathematics, you may have noticed that this country is descending into financial oblivion. There is a debate as to whether this is the fault of the private or governmental sector.

My position is simple. If it were not for the technological advances made possible by private enterprise, the adverse effects of governmental ineptitude would have rendered this nation insolvent decades ago. Said differently, if it were not for the increases in productivity and reductions in costs made possible by free enterprise, government waste and fraud would have already destroyed us.

By way of example, Life Extension has approximately 300 employees today. We develop dietary supplement formulations and make them available at lower relative prices each year. If it were not for our private enterprise-invented computers, it would require several thousand employees to do the same work. That would mean higher prices and inferior products for you, assuming we remained solvent.

Senator John McCain (and others) is proposing to squander tax-debt dollars by mandating more government waste, while sticking the private sector with oppressive laws that will hinder scientific advances and increase costs. The net effect will be to take away your free access to dietary supplements.

Pharmaceutical interests are obviously behind this latest effort to legislatively force more Americans towards expensive prescription drugs and away from natural ways of preventing degenerative disease.

In normal times, I would ask each of you to e-mail Congress to demand that they refuse to co-sponsor the bill that John McCain introduced in the Senate. But these are far from normal times.

You should instead use John McCain’s bill as an example of the rampant tax-debt fraud being perpetrated by Washington, D.C., politicians and bureaucrats. Please use our convenient legislative action center to e-mail your Senators and Representative to not only protest against this corrupt piece of legislation, but every government project that contributes to an impossible-to-pay-back federal debt.

I'm not saying I agree with every decision the FDA makes (for example, I don't think Aspartame should ever have been approved), but, all in all, they're there for the good of the American public. The majority of companies that supply dietary supplements are scammers. Their products are usually nothing more than an amalgamation of foods available in a normal, everyday diet. Very rarely do they provide any noticeable benefit.

Are they all bad? No, I don't believe that. But there is no reason that they shouldn't have to submit for FDA approval of their product. If it shows genuine, reproducible results, it will likely be approved.

Are you kidding me? The FDA is a corrupt entity that is purely operated on maximizing the profitability of food corporations. No more no less.

Some examples are:

Hydrogenated Oil
Aspartame
Fluroide
Frankenstein Seeds aka Monsanto
meat and poultry decimated by steroids and other chemicals

Those are just off the top of my head.

FU#$ the FDA!

All I can say is that this type of legislation falls right in line with predicted policies of Codex Alimentarius.

You can bet your bottom dollar that very soon, you will be required to have a licensed permit to plant and grow such simple things as tomatoes, potatoes, carrots right in your very back yard.

It is important to point out that because of the implementation of the CODEX Alimentaria sovereign nations must know institute such controls if they want to be ab le to participate in the 'global' market.

We were alerted to this condition set by the CODEX long ago. No one believed it. I keep on getting the impression that the end of this road will eventually criminalize being sick; which is what we may all suffer if Big Pharma and Big Chem create a regulatory mandate to consume only 'synthetic' dietary supplements.

I would provide links and stuff to show where this is laid out, but I'm too depressed to do it.... not enough Flintstone vitamins I suppose.

Yeah, wasn't the codex supposed to go into full effect at the end of last year? Last I checked, I can still buy tomatoes.

Look, I don't like the FDA any more than you do, I agree it's a corrupt organization, but without some sort of regulation every nutcase in the US would be selling dangerous supplements and food products. It's the lesser of two evils.

You have no idea what your asking for dude, ... trust me, I've been following supplements and vitamins for years, always keeping up on the latest cures and studys.

The FDA works hand in hand with the pharmacutical industry, they have already tried to have every vitamin classified as a drug, so you could only get them with prescription, .... is that what you want ???

These people are responsible for supressing natural cures for cancer's and diabetes because it's cheaper to treat them than to cure them, their sole concern is profit, not your well being.

... and regarding your statement about scammers putting out dangerous drugs and remedy's........ have you been seeing any of that ? cause I havent, ... anyone with half a brain and one eye can read a label.

Trust me ...Big Pharma and the fda WANT you sick, so they can treat you.

Just gota bump this thread .
Contact your federal legislators and urge them not to cosponsor, support, or vote for such a power-grabbing, bill. Let them know Americans want unrestricted access to nutritional supplements, and the government out of their health choices.

Well it was just a matter of time before thaT card got pulled out again. Typical legilative maneuver. miss it once or twice, try it again. Eventually people will forget about it, get tired of fighting it, or worse, other lawmakers votes have been bought or traded.

Notice how often versions of Obamacare have been out this year. Same thing. Its how they justify that what they do is actual work. Gotta earn those lobbyist bribes.

If they use this to decide vitamins and mineral supplements are toxins, it might limit the mg/per tablet allowance for these supplements causing people who are smart about their intake to buy more tablets to get the benefit. Benefiting the pharmaceutical network.

McCain is using sport as a cover. Attacking natural supplements in guise of attacking man made supplements (steroids) is wrong. And very misleading. The food we have in 99% of stores, in western society, contains barely any nutritional value as do most of the low brand supplements.

The future is either a very unhealthy society, with a lot of deaths contributed to diseases and ailments barely heard of 100 years ago or... I can't think of any other way our western society is headed in regards to health. I see thousands of people coming to the ED with health problems related to eating pure rubbish (which I know is the same in every country, liver replacement amongst the top 3). So if this were to be bad news it would fall upon deaf ear to most of our fellow earthlings.

Though if you buy smart, understand food in relation to fuel, then this should cause you no problems if they inhibit the amount of vitamins & minerals allowed in supplements.

Oh my !
Now I know the day someone tells me I have to have a permit to plant my own crop, well, I will say this, that is going to be a very very bad day for that individual, oh yes and of course myself, but that's the day, and it's going to be a bad bad day.
