Any day now folks. Any day now we are going to see round 2 between Israel Lebanon and Hezbollah.

This is going to be a monstrous conflict and it has far reaching implications in its potential to escalate into something terrible.

It will expand into Syria and of course Iran, and once that happens it will be on for young and old my friends..

So the question is. Will the United States tolerate another aggressive attack against Lebanon?

Or will we be too distracted by farting around in Yemen to notice?

The US will more than likely tolerate anything that Israel does. So will the US care when Lebanon get decimated? Fat chance.

Some real questions as to where Mr Hariri stands. Independently wealthy benefitting from his late father's fortune miraculously grew form under one billion to 16 billion when he was Prime Minister.

But his father turned away from supporting Syria's takeover of Lebanon and was assassinated in 2005. Syria is considered the perpetrator.

Hariri Junior may now be handled by Syria and Iran who let him stay on as a popular front man to be disposed of when the time comes.

The complexities of Lebanese politics are staggering. The Christian-Sunni coalition which brought peace and prosperity to this highly civilized Muslim country are now a memory.

Hezbollah and the Shiite minority along with the Palestinians in the country still denied citizenship are the more aggressive political force.
Syria and Iran see Lebanon as a strategic launching pad for a war with Israel and then onward to Saudi Arabia.
