Well I don't really like the lady,

but since she's very "country" and likes guns, I always thought she named him Trig, short for Trigger (on a gun).

Addison's is NOT a skin disease. It is a disease caused by the destruction of the adrenal glands and is usually hereditary. Those with addison's disease need provided with either or both a mineralcorticoid, or glucocorticoid to replace what the body no longer manufactures.

This would not surprise me one bit. She does have a twisted sense of humor. However, I also don't even believe that she is TriG's mother. But having said that, yes, I believe she could have named him that way on purpose. Absolutely.

Catch up friend. The old rumor about Trig not being her son, but her grandson, is picking up speed again. A professor has written an article with a lot of interesting information in it. It was published in the Business Insider and other places.

I had not thought of that reason when I posted this thread, but it could make sense.

The more I look into this, the more I think non story. Even if as the photographic evidence I have seen collected seems to show, that she was faking a preganancy, so what? The kid is still hers and being raised as hers. Maybe she adopted the child from a stranger, for political reasons. (the political arena is filthy we all know that), and how endearing to future voters. I myself reall ydo not care who birthed or sired Trig because he is belongs to a family who seems to adore him.

Since starting this thread I watched that Sarah Palin show, and like her even more. I can't wait to see what she does politically next.

Hey HotBT

The name really is just an old name... Norse I think. You see, I put myself in this position as well! LOL! I have a beautiful black haired fair skinned child named Samara due to it being a family name and popular in my husband's family's country. Seems there was a black haired, fair skinned psycho kid named Samara in the popular movie The Ring and every dope out there assumes I named her for that character! I can only hope that The RIng doesnt go the way of Friday 13th and there are 200 sequels into her adulthood.
I go by the name Melissa.. Ive used it for years because no one can spell my real name and many used to say "excuse me" when I told my name when asked. My name is also spelled wrong even from the intended weird spelling on my birth certificate.. the only place its spelled correctly is my CDIB.

Names are just names.. this one is no different and I doubt Palin for all of her genius named him after the gene/chromosone/whatever that caused his illness. I had my kids late and I too received the " you're old, youre eggs are tainted, and youre probably going to have a Downs baby" pamphlets. Trust me, they are NOT in depth and dumbed down to the extreme. You have to take whats called "genetic counseling" when you get pregnant at something like over 35 in some hospitals, certain doctors and insurance groups. Unless she sought more info out on her own when Trig was born, triG wasnt mentioned IMO.

As far as Palin herself.. when her name was first mentioned I looked at old youtubes of her work and just her being herself from almost the start of her career. She was VERY rational, on the ball, and really impressive. I was kind of wondering why she was running with crazy ol McCain to be honest.. then I saw her speak during the campaign. She had completely changed her personality and mannerism from her old stuff. Now she feigns being vapid, down home in a condescending way, and "common". If I ever hear " say it aint so Joe" or "joe six-pack" again I may vomit. I have no idea what the result sought was, but this change was terrible, offensive, and made me question her not for what she was saying so much as questioning what sort of person can act that well and change their persona on a dime. Thats frightening in and of itself. I dont watch her shows and I dont read her books.. to me, she is nothing as I could never trust or support such a faker and deceiver. I gave her a shot.. like I gave Obama a shot... disappointment all around these days!

Sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.. and there is no conspiracy or ulterior meaning. I believe thats the case here with Trig.Interesting conspiracy though.. thats a portion of what we come for here at ATS : conspiracy discussion that includes the outrageous at times. Personally Id be more amused with ripping Bristol up for daring to come to the college near me and getting paid thousands to tell other young adults not to have sex because she said so.

Yes, but not all cigars are the same brand. When Freud realized that, he wished he'd never made that statement.

it's not unusual for an older mom to have a downs syndrome child.

that is a risk for women over 40, at least.

do a wiki search.
