Ultima X: Odyssey

Is any one else excited about this game? I used to play Asheron's Call which I enjoyed but got old after 2 years. I was sadly dissapointed with Star Wars Galaxies

This game on the other hand looks great, has Legend of Zelda style combat, and a cool setting. I'll wait a few monthes before I buy though. I learned that lesson from SWG.

This really sucks. And it is a very bad business move. UO is currently years behind the competition and with Everquest 2 soon coming out, I'm afraid UO will likely close. If they moved their resources towards development, they could avoid their death. But no, I guess they lack the intelligence.

EA must be ran by a bunch of retarded #s, I was looking forward to UO:X more than any other game. what a bunch of #. I remember when uo2 was going to be made and they pulled the plug on that, and i'm still pissed off about that. UO won't go out of business, many people won't be able to play EQ2, the graphic requirements are insane, and most likely will be insane by the time it comes out. hell regular EQ with all the expansion enable will lag even on some of the best machines. Just think when they have massive epic raids. I myself am not enough of a cyber social whore to advance very far in EQ, I got to 48 and was like fawk this.

Heh. I've never actually tried EQ but it seems like you have to be one hell of an antisocial to get anywhere on it.

perhaps antisocial to the real world but you will have to suck the proverbial cyber cock to get all the kick ass gear later on. you could make a nerco and solo like nobodys business fairly quickly. However all the kick ass stuff usually requires massive groups to take down the uber mobs. It's funny really, how obessed people get over in game items.

Dark Age of Camelot was fun though, Realm vs Realm, but it got old.

Watch for EA to cancel more UO related product in the near future!
