I believe dreams play a role in the manufacturing of reality. That is; any reality that you experience yourself as existing in.

If this is true? Then dreams must be very important. What do you know about dreams?

I know that dreams are very realistic, visual and sensical. They are elaborately fashioned to a point that goes beyond practicality and they enter into art. As if creation on it's own would not be enough.

Why do dreams manage such detail? We see things that aren't there in the best of ways and sometimes the worst of ways. Awake or asleep, we do.

If we were looking at dreams seriously it seems there would always be a flaw. Sometimes it's easy, like looking into a mirror in a dream or viewing the night sky in one. Things are sometimes incorrect, but sometimes they are correct and detailed exactly as they should be.

Dreams are created by dreamers.

Are you a dreamer?

Well...

I think it's save to say. Dreams are very Important !

People will die, if a lack of sleep keeps them, from dreaming.
As for reality.
.

I have experienced dreams, lasting a week of time I spend in them. When the dream itself took place within about 15 minutes. The time in between the alarm clock rings to wake me up.

You are so going to love my book... I cover the perception of time during sleep. And how time can be more then what we actually slept during normal clock time.

I need to get this book done.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

Oh mang... my free book is getting me moderated. Before you smash my dream; read this self-simular but not as pretty graphically book that I wrote in 1998 for free.

Yeah... free like this book I am writing now. Zero down, no debt. Just a book you read.

www.explorations-in-consciousness.com...
Read that book and if you paid a penny for it; that is the same price I am charging for the 2010 followup.

12 years... sigh. what am I big pharma? Or just a dreamer.

Ok I am feeling less stepped on this morning.

There is really not much to say about the book other then it's a very long thread with deep research; links and lots of sound theory about cognition and dreaming.

Wow !

It looks very interesting ! When I'm done finishing the other books in line. I'll certainly start with yours.

Thank you !

By the way, they won't ban you for posting what's yours. If you can prove it when it leads to it.
That would be silly, don't you think ?

I would love to read your book whenever you finish it. Just from the posts on here and as a fellow ATSer. Could always use another perspective on dreams, another mindset to approach them with. Like you say thoughts and dreams create reality. It's like a loop isn't it -- thoughts -- dreams -- reality, then reality effects our thoughts starting the process over. Our thoughts can definetly change our dreams and I guess I have let that part slip over the past few months.

Edit: In my dream this early AM I found $950 on a shopping cart at the grocery store. It wasn't a good dream overall, a typical nightmare of failing college missing classes and not having any of my assignments done past the midterm... But at least finding the money was a good feeling and kind of funny. I was NOT going to turn it in to the grocery story btw, though I thought about it so take that as you will... When I awoke, I almost put my hand in my pocket to see if it was still there
almost
Now that really does seem cynical, maybe I should check
