Answer, according to this video: reality.
I would not have posted anything on it, but that is a random news segment to be on a network like CNN.
Maybe there is a subtle disclosure going on. This is getting interesting.
Thoughts?

I think it's less "subtle disclosure" & more "broadcasting what poeple want to watch".

Concidentally, whilst I was watching the BBC briefly yesterday, they were advertising yet another new "special" about UFO's & aliens.

So, there's presently lot's on TV about this.

The video definitely suggests that intelligent et's are a reality.

Nice find.

I think it's more along the lines of changing peoples' thoughts. It's about conditioning them to change the way they think. It's just making sure people stay open to the possibility.

I still see the question is "are they Fantasy or Reality?"

I grow tired of this bs about we need hard evidence, like a fingerbone or a peice of a alien craft. We all know, we all do, that if one was to aquire this type of evidence, you will turn up suicided the next day either thrown out the window with a wire tied around your neck, crushed by a car, or found with a gun in your mouth. All done by your own people. You will end up like those Microbiologists and Ufologists whos lives ended at the peak of their career. But I suppose those whom have a hard time believing the unbelievable would say, all those people just died. Poor, Poor Humanity.

I suppose if we were hit by a nuclear bomb, we wouldnt be able to confirm that until year 2070.

I'll need to add this video to my huge collection of other videos involving this subject Thanks for posting!

Thanks indeed for that, along with Steven Hawkin he is saying that any contact with ET could be disastrous.

This dose not however seam to be the common theme on ATS, here it would seam to be that the ET are here to save us. This is not exactly how I see it.

Most here on ATS seam to fear there own government more than the unknown ET, that in it’s self is interesting.

Could not however read a lot into the video just seamed to be a time filler promoting the film.

As you have no doubt read.....

There are a lot of members who feel strongly that aliens are "bad".

They state the "proof" of that is the "vast" number of alien abuctions that occur.

They also use examples wherein they state aliens have mutilated humans, even whilst they are alive.

I agree the video segment is "no big deal" & is in the nature of a "filler".

With intelligence comes the increased mobility of a species. We ourselves have encompassed space with vehicles and will only do more in the future to have it be efficient, quick and more encompassing.

This in mind, it is entirely possible and logical that a highly intelligent species has already found us. The supposed distance between us and them is a near idea destroying factor, yet, with the presumption that they are highly intelligent comes the fact that they would be exponentially mobile. There wouldn't be much stopping them from us. Not space, not time.

This is great!! How come not that many stars and flags?

Good stuff. it looks like the future is going to be juicy. It also seems that James Cameron has woken some people up with Avatar as well.

But on another note, it's interesting how this subject was taken very seriously on CNN nevertheless!

Yes, more and more of what we see on MSM about ET's has seemed to evolve from outright ridicule to today's more scientific based explanations, although still not quite "there" yet, but it is good to see it in this light than what has been seen in the past where the whole notion of visitation was usually defamed and such..
