666 Mark of the Beast [in depth analysis]

Note: I kept this ATS title the same as the YouTube video so that possibly duplicate postings wouldn't be created. No need for me to recreate some crafty title.

A friend had sent me an interesting link regarding a homemade video called, "666 Mark of the Beast". Like many of you, I usually yawn and ignore such titles and topics, but there are some strange corporate links tied in together that I wasn't aware of. I'll have to do some digging myself to validate these claims.

Nonetheless, this is only for your bored enjoyment. Give it two minutes or so before you turn it off, that is, if this man's raspy voice doesn't make you jump out of a window first.

Although my free time today is limited, maybe a few of you can find a connection to these claims.

The mark of the beast is the bar code system.

Been in place since the 1980's. It's of no coincidence that one must be on everything that is purchased.

The newest volume of Oxyrhynchus Papyri contains a fragmentary papyrus of Revelation which is the earliest known witness to some sections (late third / early fourth century). A detailed discussion of its place in the MS tradition is given in the printed volume.
One feature of particular interest is the number that this papyrus assigns to the Beast: 616, rather than the usual 666. (665 is also found.) We knew that this variant existed: Irenaeus cites (and refutes) it. But this is the earliest instance that has so far been found. The number — chi, iota, stigma (hexakosiai deka hex) — is in the third line of the fragment shown below.

Very disturbing possibilities there for this kind of Technology . Under the Ruse of at first Medical Applications , then onto Mandatory Implantations for the purpose of Identity Confirmation imposed on a citizentry by Goverments through the Manipulations of Laws that protect their Personal Freedoms ? Frightening indeed . If a system such as this were ever to be imposed on a Free Society , it would be tantamount to a kind of Technologocal Slavery . Uhm,that guy is getting into many details like so many others about this subject and they're wrong,They forget (or ignore) the bigger picture which is the whole scripture of revelations.
I only saw a few minutes of the first video,excuse me about that but if he had an idea about the beast,its name (therefore it's number too) and its mark then he wouldn't be talking about the things he was.I assume he's talking about microchips(?).
I really can't see this whole thing,i'm sorry,i can't listen about details that have nothing to do with the subject.

The number of his name.Really,it's that simple.
If you think you found something on it you can verify it (or debunk it) by reading the whole script.

That's why this whole thing has become that laughable,because people think they found something and they don't bother making sure by reading the whole thing.

So,no matter where someone found the number (if he did) all he have to do is read the rest of revelations and remember: the number is supposed to be coming from the beasts name (with gematry?i don't know but that's what most people support).


Allthough an atheist,i started doing a small research about the revelations.I wanted to read something from it and then i got randomly interested.
I saw that it's not that hard to check if a theory about it stands possible or not.

Your expressed skepticism is noted , and the correlation to the Number of the Beast in this Video is Irrevelant IMO . It's implications of the Possible Enslavement of Humanity through Tracking Chip Implantation are not . Nonsense to you maybe , but also Truth to some...........

It's funny that no one is talking about how Obama and Timothy Geithner both said after the economic recession was in its peak last yr, that America and the world needs to move away from the dollar. He said more or less in these words, "...America needs to focus on producing a new TYPE of money, one which minimizes fraud...". Obama did not say to produce a new type of economy (i.e, green economy, etc.) but a whole new TYPE of money. Look at the world, people. Everything is ran by computers. As a matter of fact, no gov't even trades in ACTUAL monetary units anymore. Everything is all done on a few computer strokes. So, it makes sense to assume that the new monetary will be computerized. How could you minimize fraudulent transactions and theft? Why, biologically of course. Implanted chips are not only logical, but probable...and it goes back to what Obama said (I WILL FIND THE QUOTE, NO WORRIES, b/c I know that the know it alls and Obama supporters will be asking for my head)...has anyone ever considered that what might seem the most irrational idea (computer chip) is already being implemented in the state of CT? The state of CT enacted law in the mid-1990's which gave parents the right to have elective surgery performed on their children, implanting chips, for the purpose of locating a lost/missing/kidnapped child. But how many people talked about that???

i would like to start out saying that the mark of the beast can be interpreted in many ways. some say its physical and some say its spiritual. to have 666 on your hand would mean u except Satan thru physical means such as; sex or murder. to have 666 on your head means to except Satan thru spiritual means such as; religion or worship.

now with that out of the way, with the RFID chip, eventually you wont be able to buy or sell good. you wont be able to get health care or anything that you would need to take care of your self. you couldn't own a house or a car. it would be total control. they will know what you are doing and were you are going.

the 666 comes from Babylon. the priests in Babylon would set out tables at the church each day. on the tables would be 6 gold coins. on the gold coins would be magic squares. each column, row and diagonal line on the squares would add up to 666. now on the back of the coins would be a fortune that would tell a person of Babylon how he/she should go about his/her life that day. a person would pay the priest money and he/she would pick a coin. he/she would read the coin and go about his/her day by what the coins said. if it told you not to by/sell, he/she would not and visa versa.

666 may not be the RFID chip.... but it will control our lives.

Yes, genius there is a bar code on hot dogs and beer. As far as gas, you may not see the bar code but I'm sure the gas stations that purchase the gas do.

616 or 666, either works if you assume that John of Patmos was referring to the Emperor Nero as The Beast in Revelation. The number is obtained using gematria by adding the numerical value of each letter in his name after translating to Hebrew. In Latin it is Caesar Nero(616), in Greek it is Caesar Neron(666).

I thought revelations said that 666 or the mark of the beast is the number of a man..

I always ask theologians who say that 666/616 referred to Nero that if that is the case, where is the historical record of people getting branded on the forehead or hand in Nero's time?

It was published today that in Greece, all transactions will be completed with a bar-code card from next year. This bar-code card will replace paper receipts. Thus all commercial transactions will automatically be taxed + electronically cross checked by the ministry of finance for both sides (seller+buyer). Just in case you wonder, buyer will be checked so that he doesn't spend more than he supposedly earns (which indicates he's also earning black money).

Coupled with the banning of any cash transaction >1500 euro (these will have to be through a bank, cheque or credit card so that they can be tracked), Greece is probably the first country to implement such NWO/apocalyptic measures.
